I too think I would prefer the ABS version. I'd love to see an install video to see how robust the radiator "shield" behind the grill is. I know some people here are going to add additional mesh, but any concerns of restricting airflow (maybe balanced out by the larger openings anyway)?

The self driving is useful for many reasons depending on the driver and what he /she is using the car for at any particular time. If all you do with this car is pulling out of the garage and go out and have fun with it then of course an option like this is pointless. But for those of us who use it on the daily or business trips I personally use a self driving mechanism 5 to 10% of the time on a four or six hour trip. I would be glad to list the reasons why I use it but then all kinds of other arguments would pop up and I’m really not interested in that. Use your imagination as to why a self driving function, one that actually only goes for 10 to 15 seconds before it requires your intervention, would be useful to some drivers.

Fr the driving assist cuts down on road-trip fatigue by a dramatic amount.

And in traffic under 40 it's the coolest thing ever

I can't wait to see a prod version of the ABS grill. I thought CF was the obvious choice, but on BSM, the gloss black will look legit and with CF inlets/lip, it will look factory+ as opposed to "someone had some extra money for carbon".

OEM+ is the way to go.

Very unfortunate they are not doing anything for the people with radar. I would imagine at least half of the G80s have this option ticked off.

The photos may be misleading about the carbon fiber weave. The pictures show the weave going in on both sides like this \ / while the videos I’ve seen online of the actual product have the weave going in the same direction \ \. Not 100% sure on this but this would frustrate the shit out of me. Please correct me if I’m wrong but that’s what it looks like. A photo below from the short clip taken from IND’s instagram

Ours has 2 separate directions, as in this post and videos I have posted and production pieces will be the same.

Right, but where are they at with making it work? It looks like someone would have to just notch out the bottom of the grill to make it fit.

I need to keep an eye on this one. Looks promising. The middle large slat, is off, bigtime on their website render, but I can get an idea of what its supposed to look like, anyway.
