I like his channel, if you look at his videos he is probably the best editor on YouTube in this segment. It could be worse, it could be Schmeeeee talking to us like we are a baby. HIIII ITS SCHMEEEEE.

This right here is the perfect example of why people were complaining about how the new M3 and M4 vids were focused on a different demographic. The Millenial and Gen Z demographic are heavily influenced by social media. You don’t even know who Mr. AMG is (who recently did an interview of Chris Harris) and the fact that he has bought like 5 C63 AMGs, which means that he was buying the M3/M4’s competitor. He’s an influencer and popular youtuber. In his recent interview with Chris Harris, they discussed the new G8X looks.
As far as “M Town”, it’s a fictitious town that they set up to shoot marketing vids. A town where BMW “M” is the major theme, and all cars are M cars. |

Don't be mistaken. That new wheel pattern had already been launched as part of the of the original G8X M-Performance parts press release. Further, that design is already offered on the F9X M5/8. That whole video is about the launch of that horrid colour scheme for an otherwise beautiful wheel.

I finally get it. Times have changed. BMW is shifting their fan base from middle class middle aged man and some broke diy'ers to rich kids who have no taste. I have had no clue about what BMW was thinking from the moment I saw the new design for the first time until I watched M///Town video. Everybody watches Youtube these days and by judging from the front page of Youtube, the main audience are kids. Nothing is about class, elegance or taste anymore but about clowns and buffoons who are willing to do anything to get attention on any digital platform. That's how kids' world work. I do not know who had that "light-bulb" moment in BMW but it is clear that BMW wants to sell a Veneno looking version of an M car to a kid whose father cannot afford a Veneno. I was very confused and angry in the beginning when the new design was released but after seeing this masquerade... I am sad and very disappointed right now.

I personally love the GTS wheels.
But then again I own a GTS. G car looks better to me every time I see it. And the frozen paint looks amazing. |
