I have watched the video and this car is insanely riced out... more so than a civic was back in the day... holy cow, cf paddles and steering wheel inserts lol. 5 different colors on the body, two tone bottom... what? The styling is way overdone

you should really think about flashing your M3 with Bm3 when your standard warranty expires, i think you'll be very pleasantly surprised

but mainly interested for the purist junkies 3 years down the road.
I have modified several cars. One of the best my 04 mustang cobra terminator. A smaller upper pulley, tune, exhaust and cold air intake and you were at 500 hp. Safe too as the crank, rods, pistons were all forged from the factory and bolted down by ARP head bolts. And the car would hook and launch straight too.

Their within lies the problem of tuning my M3CS. That thing lights them up through third gear. Plus it gets squirrelly. I've tried launch control twice and both times it scared the shit out of me. I'm not sure how I could use any more horsepower in that particular car. :

My grandma probably would! Certainly when the torque sustains uptil 5500rpm! The torque figure is a massive step up from the F82 competition and approaches the massive torque push of the S63. Nevertheless, it will be needed to compensate the extra weight, certainly when the AWD is installed.

For some reason the grill on the M3 looks less in your face than the M4 does...anyone agree?

I think so too. I feel like the M3 wears the face better than the M4 does. I'm still trying to get myself to like the M4, mainly because I owned an E92 and I'm looking for an F32. I just like coupes in general.

Meh, its average tq. 1SS Camaro makes just under in a naturally aspirated engine for under 40k lol. My CS has more at the crank. Weight? How about ride height?

Didn't even read through all the comments yet so I'm sure it's been brought up but GAH DAMN.. that's a huge torque difference. Would love the manual RWD but 70+ Ft/lbs is massive

Not worse than I expected, but not better either. In any case, won't be buying this one new or second-hand. No matter the performance, if walking away from a car doesn't cause me to want to look at it, I won't buy.

My E92 M...always looked back.
My M4 CS...always look back.
The new M4...not worthy of a second look.

To drop 100K on that? No way.

I think so too. I feel like the M3 wears the face better than the M4 does. I'm still trying to get myself to like the M4, mainly because I owned an E92 and I'm looking for an F32, so the G82 appeals to me more than the G80 does.
I didn't like the M4 much at all, but think it looks stunning with a camera moving around it and being able to take the proportions in better. The M3 is the winner still for me, which is good as I need the back seats.
Made my day this release, it's stunning. It's going to be the longest wait of my life now for the AWD Comp

I believe what we see now is that M division sees its budgets tank very fast now! Their Vision M Next is recently dumped also. They just tried to wring out one extra here before the ICE is put to rest. Therefore, less focus on weight reduction since it would increase production costs massively and more boy racer distractions that costs almost nothing.

Anyone else notice the G80 is 4 inches longer than the G20? Where does that length come from?

You guys know what else is 100k?

https://www.porsche.com/usa/models/7...18-cayman-gt4/

Before you compare its power to the G8x, don't forget that this is built ground up for performance. You won't find any 2 piston calipers and trash suspension on this car. Spend your money wisely boys.

Damn now I’m considering keeping my f80 as opposed to getting an m2 cs... f80 has more presence than a small two door car and i won’t feel bad driving the “older” generation now lol
This is why I ordered my F82 M4 last year after seeing the first renders of the G80! There's just no way I would spend money ($70K minimum) on a car that drives well but looks terrible.

I'm happy that the 6MT survives another generation but I'm disappointed in everything else.

I can understand that your expectations were higher, but for me, this is the only real step up I see and for a 3.0 tiny engine, still a master achievement.

I can’t help but feel all that growling and screaming in the commercial is some way to invoke emotion in people. If the cars were hot it would do it on their own. After i watched the official videos i actually walked out of my office saying i was going to get one then i looked at the design again and came back to reality lol
