I can't seem to update my car anymore. Updates will download to my iPhone and then I get a message about how I have to connect the MyBMW app to my car to update, even though I'm fully connected. It keeps telling me it'll transfer from my iPhone to my car as I'm driving, but it never happens.

I had the same issue with my last update. I think it is badly worded as it says you need to connect even when you are connected.
I thought nothing was happening then after a few days and several drives (none particularly long) it said the transfer was complete and it was ready for install.
I seem to recall an earlier update had displayed %age transfer complete, but this one didn’t do that. It just went straight to finished (eventually).

Yeah we play there almost every other weekend. It's a beautiful and challenging course.

S/W version 22-07 finally showed up in my app once again.

If yours is a '24, it'll most likely have the latest S/W.
Any future updates will automatically(but selectively for some reason) show up in your MyBMW app.
There's no way to manually choose and download the s/w at this time.

Seems to me the collision detection stuff is more sensitive eg reverse parking. Neighbours leaves from bushes hanging over boundary set it off now. Emergency brakes. Had to cut them back!

My car has never had an update available. Any time one comes out I have to go to the dealer and have them do it.

Did the update this afternoon.

ZOMG! I swear the car is definitely faster now. The shifts are PDK and i get all the pops and burbles as if i had the tune for it.

I know for a fact it's at least .5 second faster in the 1/4. I can feel it!!!!!!! I hope BMW provides more updates to this car it's soo fast now!! ZOMGCOPTER!

Installed the upgrade last night. Nothing to see here I guess at least from what I can tell. Only thing that grabs me is that every time I do an upgrade my M1 and M2 settings get screwed up and I have to go back in and change them. Oh well.

Don’t think it’s specifically directed at you but these update threads are always filled with big lists of perceived changes that almost certainly are not things that BMW is actually changing.
