your designated week is the week your car goes into production. The date on DevTools appears to be the end date. The assembly line is running all week long. So a car that goes into production late one week will be completed the next week.

That is incorrect the designated week is the week car finishes production. The car literally gets stamped (door sticker) a production date where the car is done being produced. Just with the delays genius started telling people the week of the production as start because of the uncertainties that's all

I'm just repeating what the genius told me. Per BMW genius my car is a week 21 build but the completion day might technically be in week 22. Cars are entering and leaving the factory everyday or the week. The week date is an arbitrary number. The car stamp never gives the day or the production week. It gives the month and year. My car, as it's expected finish date is 5/31, will be stamped 5/22. But per BMW it went into production on week 21.

I hear you, also yeah door sticker is month and year dumb recollection on my end, but historically even with my previous order the production week is the week it rolls out just genius changed their wording on it with all the delays and uncertainty

Regardless of semantics we both actually have cars (at least in some form) at this time!!! . Hopefully will have a speedy trip across the pond.

So has mine. Just called the genius and they have absolutely no info. Still planned completion date of 5/31 for me.

Mine says 5/30, which gives me today and Monday so unless they have not been scanning statuses or there is some sort of update delay, it will be cutting it close
