Joining Week 21 as well as of this morning. Got pushed to 150. Was originally supposed to be Week 26, so very happy. As per the genius, should be completed by 5/30

I'm "supposedly" week 21 (according to Genius), but went from paint both yesterday morning to dispatched from factory this afternoon. They're not kidding when they say it starts moving once it hits the production line. My hope is for you all to get the same movement once you hit the production line.

You are absolutely right. Some of them say completion data and some say start date. By the book production date is when car rolls out the factory but with all of what was happening things changed a bit. Also BMW weeks is not like us counting weeks on our calendar, it's different 😃

... my car is in the paint booth. Flipped from status 150 to 152 overnight. "prodDate" remains 05/23 (using My Garage and DevTools).

Allocation found and deposit placed 01/27/2022 for a build week 8 and status 111 car. Status flipped to 112 upon order entry and build stayed week 8. In February bumped to status 105 and no build week, and then rapidly to 111 and week 19 (per CA verbal) and then 112 and prodDate=05/20 (week 20, per CA screen copy). Hit 150 and stayed at prodDate=05/20 two weeks ago (at 150 could look for myself using DevTools), and stayed at 150 but went to prodDate=05/23 Monday.

5/25 Prod Date, still stuck on 150, weekend is here, no way my prod date will be hit. Looks like best case for me now is Build Week 22.

There will be significant updates once you enter the line and the vehicle will be built within a couple of days. 5/25 production completion is still a possibility. Worst case that date might slip a day or two.

I just called Genius and the rep didn’t really know what he was looking at. He said the only dates under the production information was April 14 (Week 14, which I initially got but was bumped from) and June 22.

So we have likely been bumped to Week 22. Guess I have to wander over to that thread now….

But I think it’s weird that Week 22 would come up as 6/22 when the first day of that week is May 29. But as we have discussed BMW isn’t very good about being consistent with its weeks.

Or is it possible that my Week 21 info got updated to a June 22 completion date?

This Genius guy was not very helpful.

Is 5/25 your start or end?

When I spoke with BMW Genius on Tuesday they said I'm week 21 with a production date of 5/22 and end date of 5/30. Interestingly 5/22 is Sunday and I am surprised that in Europe factories are open on the weekend.

My understanding is it's my end date. I already got pushed back by 1 day last week.

June 22 would definitely fall under week 25 but maybe the genius rep was confused on how to interpret what he was looking at. See below my vehicle inquiry status from close to when I placed my order. The production dates read Year/Month/Week so my Sub. Req. Prod. date of "2022/6/22" would be a day that falls within the build week of 22 which is in June of 2022.

Hopefully I didn't add further confusion to your question

No that helps clear things up! So I could have a production date that falls on a day in June but within Week 22?

If so I have only been bumped back a week.

Today at status 153 (Entering Assembly Line). Looks like 05/23 completion is really happening!

Some people have noted that My Garage is behind what Genius can provide by 1-3 days, but this appears to only be at status 150 and below.

Many videos show stage-of-production/QC data entry via scanning at assembly line workstations, that is, once assembly is taking place versus scheduling, and suggestions are that such automatically entered data are available essentially immediately in My Garage.

These points and based on my going from 150 to 153 in 2 days (or less) seem to explain why updates occur so quickly during assembly.

Once a car is out of the factory the status in My Garage seems to be delayed again, which seems attributable to human data entry and/or shipper-manufacture communications lags.

Nerve racking as all heck, so sacrifice a sheep, or two, to the God of logistics and have a bottle, or two, of wine and it looks like all of our cars will get here.

Anyone from Canada has any luck with developer tools, or does it work for USA customers only like My Garage.?

yea I'm from Canada, doesn't work... SA sent me build week 22, but I still haven't gotten a vin yet u?
