In the meantime, I still need to fix my front bumper issue, or just take everything off.

As for the bumper, this is what the bottom of mine looks like with the Mishimoto plate. There’s still some warp from the Turner plate, but it’s much flatter than before. |

Man, this Turner skid plate turns these bumpers into hammered dog shit. May need to take a heat gun to get it back straight.

And I'd laugh at your example...except I've been there. Left lane on the highway in Houston (no shoulder there, literally the line and then a jersey barrier, the shoulder is on the right), driving in my old Tesla. Hit some kind of massive metallic or solid wood object in the dark while in traffic. Saw it not a split second after it appeared out from under the pickup in front of me. BAM! Toasted the battery and totaled the car. Had I been in an F8X or G8X with that oil cooler, for sure it would have taken it out. And as for shutting it off before pulling over, this happened on a 4 lane highway plus the entrance ramp I was next to. It was 45-60 seconds before I was able to get to the shoulder safely (hazards on, rear tire instantly flat BTW). So yeah, good chance it would have run long enough to go kaboom. Because I wasn't about to stop in the flow of traffic, no matter what the consequence to the car. |

On a stock car, the rubber piece attached to the oil cooler is the lowest part if I’m not mistaken. This Mishimoto plate does hang a bit lower than that though.

Man - that little rubber strip/air damn looking piece. How long did that piece last you everyone's car? It's in my trunk.

I ordered the mishimoto plate last week and was told it's BO for 8 - 12 weeks.
Sigh...

Usually full bolt on. CS needed a tiny bit of trimming for clearance on the rear of the lip.

Just a very mild amount of trimming needed where the lip meets the cooler, it's self explanatory once the guard is fitted into position.
