What's this under my seat?

I was shaking out some debris from the mat and noticed this. Not seeing a reference to it in the manual, but I imagine if I knew what it was it may be there.

That's the ejector. If you hold down the red "start/stop" button during an emergency, the roof will detach and the propellants in the ejector will launch your seat out of the vehicle.

Yellow and Green are airag. I believe this is the airbag wiring harness for the seat.

If you say "Hey BMW, fire the ejector seat", it will initiate the countdown.

As everyone has already mentioned, power/communication bulkhead connector for seat. Disconnecting is a good way to test the airbag error light (don't recommend).
