G82 comp vs M8 aesthetics
Prior to getting my G82 I was shopping for an M8 comp. Drove it, brought it home, had the wife drive it. I was sold. I could not stop looking at it. I was enamored with the look.
10 months into my g82 and I had a thought today that maybe I should sell it (back to the dealer) get an M8 for the street, and do a dedicated cage track car like a subie brz. Sounds like a good plan, so I start looking at the M8 again, and Ill tell ya, to me now, it looks dated, almost like a 10 yo car. I can't explain it, whether its the softness of the lines, or the rounded nose. But Im totally over the car. Dont get me wrong, it would be a joy to own and drive, but I do not have the infatuation with it I did. Despite my reservations when I bought it, the G82 has won me over all the way.

It's the grill that makes the M8 look dated
