2023 g82 Does anybody have a clue why ebc red stuff is so backordered???? Blue , yellow no problem…. Plenty of rear red available, no fronts…. Kind of a disappointment….. i know there are other brands available but this red stuff is like getting a precious metal Ya want to play in this market , have availability Wth

Red fronts have been "backordered" for the better part of a year. I remember when I got my G83 in May of 2022, the red front pads were expected to be available in September. Then it was November. Then January. I wouldn't hold your breath for availability in the near future.

I ordered some a couple of weeks ago and was told 8 weeks. I'm being optimistic that holds true with reality it could be much longer. I haven't really seen why as like you said the other colors are and have been in stock. I looked at one of the Isweep flavors and they were back ordered as well and they also cost hundreds more.

Super frustrating so much is still in supply issues or so they say.

Is this your real world experience? If this is the case I'll give em a few months then I might have have to go with something else if I can find something in stock at that point.

My real world experience: I ordered a set of EBC Red front brake pads for my G80 on September 5th. I still haven’t received them, and the vendor has no updates for me after numerous “four more weeks” emails to me. Time to move on.

Have you tried sourcing M5 EBC Pads? I believe they are the same thing.

I got my EBC Blue Stuff from some random supplier by searching for the M5 pads in the middle of a shortage.

Most places show them in stock or call for availability but in reality they are out of stock. X-PH is where I ordered from and they told me 8 weeks lead time. So sometime in March but maybe longer?

It’s not that they are holding back, it’s that vendors don’t know that they are the same pad, so the are only selling them to M5 owners.

BTW looking back at my receipts, it’s actually the rear pad I sourced using the F10 M5 part number, not the F90. I’m not 100% sure if the fronts are the same as the F10 M5.

That’s right. Rear red stuff pads are available. The front set is the unicorn standing on a four leaf clover while watching Bigfoot ride the Loch Ness monster.

I have an order in for red stuff w x-ph I was supposed to get front and rears from them when they came in on jan 17 Got an email from them saying they didnt make it in. Now im told april 9th and who knows if that will stand. I contacted probably 30 places and all told me march/april Some had rears in stock. Dont know what the issue is and as well contacted ebc twice and no reply. Just baffling to me the product is in such demand and no inventory and consistent long lead times. Are they wanting buyers to go to another brand or are they in the business of selling pads???? Looked at isweep but $620 for 4 pads….. aaah no way

I did some looking and it's only the rears that are the same between M5 and M3. The fronts are different so looks like I get to play the waiting game or shell out a few hundred more bucks for another brand. Yea!

I tried to order these in Dec 2021. Emails to EBC, talk with vendors, etc and never an eta that was met nor any indication what their issues are. Literally a joke that they added these to their catalogue well over 2 years ago with zero progress. To add insult, the rears have always been available. Now I'm sure those have other applications but to neglect the G series M cars (which have absurdly dusty OEM [Pagid] pads) exposes their product line mismanagement. Canceled a couple months ago. F'em.

Im up for a group buy but that does not mean they will become available in a timely fashion Im sure there are many orders still on backorder. If i dont get them i april f em amd will buy another brand At least ebc could get back to me with a dear john email

This was sent to r44 performance by ebc and forwarded to me. Dont know what they are smokin out there but db32454c not avail…and db32089c is correct So what is the actual correct part nunbers for the G80 / G82

Those are correct for front and rear. If that email is accurate (ie the EBC contact knows what their talking about) then it suggests EBC added the front (db32454c) to their catalogue 2 years ago, and retailers to their online stores, but EBC never made any and appears they never will. As if it was just lost due to incompetence or some regulatory or manufacturing show stopper. I vote incompetence, mismanagement of the product line. iSweep makes a low dust pad that r33_RGSport sells that gets good reviews.

Edit: These guys kill me "we made rears but front doesn't exist, sorry for the inconvenience!" LOL and FU.

Well unfortunately I've ordered EBC reds but fortunately this thread exists now with real user experiences so I might just cancel my order and move on because it truly looks that EBC has no ideal what they have going on here and are just wasting peoples time. The EBC's were priced right and I don't want to spend hundreds more on another brand but if they don't exist they don't exist.

I also sent an email to the Uk and US EBC sites with no responses as of yet. if they don't get back to me in a couple of days it's obvious they are ignoring us.

i sent emails as well…. No reply Supposedly the front red stuff coming april 9th…. Does anyone have the red stuff for g80/g82 installed? Endless and isweep seem like they get good reviews but waaaay too much $$

Well it's been a week since I emailed both the UK site and the US site with no reply. Really disappointed that myself and so many others can't get a response from them in some way. I mean it's just good business to at least send something out to your interested costumers. Think I'm gonna give it a little time still and hold out hope they come in. I'll just set a cutoff date.

I called the ebc usa 702 number yesterday. These red stuff pads are made in the uk and the guy i spoke to said they will be here sometime in april He also said they only have orders for 20 sets
