Females driving e90
A lot more females have been posting lately and I noticed they all have a 325i or 325xi. Are there any females here with a 330i?
I have seen one 330i at my school driven by a female, and I am assuming this because it has a hot pink Florida Atlantic University window cling in the rear window and an 'Angel" emblem under the 330i badge. Otherwise, I don't think I've seen a female driving a 330i. Maybe once. Is it a coincidence?

personally I got a pretty low end 325i and it was all I could afford at the time. I've never driven a BMW and thought gee this needs more power (well except the X3) so if I had extra money to spend I'd go for the extra features before going to the 330.

I got a 330i. At first i was lookin at a 325xi fully loaded, but when comparin the cost to a 330i , i went for the stronger engine, w/o some featues vs 325 w/ extra features. No regrets, made sense to me.
But u are right, here in dc area, It seems that mainly it guys drivin the 3 series, and the few ladies ive seen are in a 325i /xi. Give it some time, I am sure the number of females w/ 330i will increase. |

I couldn't tell that big of a difference between the 330 and 325 so I opted for the 325... more money in my pocket to spend on other things.

is the xi much more common among women? To me a BMW is about handling so I never would've considered it even if it had been available when I got mine. plus I grew up in Mass so I can drive fine under any conditions; I know rear wheel drive isn't as good in bad weather but it's not an issue for me.

Well I tried to drive up Wisconsin Ave from georgetown in my friends 325i and ourselves and a few other "i" BMW got abandoned on the side of the road that night in the snow so Iopted for the xi.
Better safe than sorry.

I've driven my boyfriends mom's 330 and i now have a 325 and i mean there is a difference.. but i mean teh 325 in my opinion is good for a girl unless u have a "need" for speed.. I mean you get a little more money in your pocket and it is still a wonderful car.. I mean i couldn't ask for anything better becuase i'm so in love with my 325... My boyfriend kept asking me... are you sure you dont want a 330 and I just kept saying that I was happy with the 325 and he will still ask but my answer is still.. I love my 325!!!

my mom drives a 330xi. Well i picked it out lol, she wanted the Xdrive tho. My girlfriend drives a 325i... I kinda picked that too, she doesnt need all the extra 40 HP shes a calm driver, and the car suits her fine. Plus for some reason i have noticed the 325i gets better gas mileage. Even at 1500 miles. WTF? compared to my 330i 6speed, if I clear the mpg on highway at 75mph, her 325 Auto gets a consistant 39.5 mpg in M6 Mode. In my car at 75mph i tried 5th gear I get 29.7 mph and 32.9 in 6th... hmmmmmmmmmm

well anyhoo, i have seen a majority of girls driving 325's around here, but also NOT alot of guys around here drive 330's. Theres a few and some are on this board. All the other guys I have seen in 325's are aged around 18-30, 80% of them dont have xenons or ZSP or Navi, and most I have seen drive around are Auto. You can tell an auto from a 6 speed when in motion from a light or while accel.

When I added up a 325i with the options I wanted it came out to about $40k. It was $42k for the 330i. As soon as I heard the exhaust growl, I knew I wanted the 330i.

the vast majority of E90's are 325's so it makes sence that you're seeing mainly women in 325's. you should see more men in 325's too
I think the 325 sells about twice as many as the 330 |
