Tell me why i should keep my CSL order and not trade in for this..

Also i called my dealer and they said they are longer Taking orders for Special cars only Dealer Spec and then its First come first serve.

I'm sorry if im spending $120k on a car i want to spec it how i want. They just lost my buisness

Yeah after dealer markups plenty of cars to choose from in this price range that may fit the bill. I don't know it's just getting ridiculous the cost of these things. I think I'd rather go M5 comp at this price.

if history repeats itself, this will not sell very well at this price range for an M3 in particular with high interest rate environment
may be I can lease one similar to F80 CS
mine was 111 k sticker and lease was 925 a month

For anyone that has been fortunate enough to own a G8x and that’s been able to push these cars, knows this is going to be incredible.

To experience the G8x on a daily basis over the last couple years has been wildly fun and rewarding. I can only imagine the car with the CS treatment.

And yeah, this new frozen white with gold wheels, just pure f’n class.

I mean with CCBs and the frozen white, it’s sort of what we predicted it would be, which is around $130k.

I was thinking around that price range as well but when I read $150k I was like no way I don’t think Bimmer would be that ridiculous lol. Imo I believe the car is priced pretty fair for what you get but there’s also minor things I would change.

An equivalent xdrive M3 is $101,495 when this is $119,695. Add frozen plus CCB and it’s $131,795. Some people were speculating it would start in the $90ks.

So it’s about an $18,200 premium which is a pretty good deal on par with other CS model premiums.

My original guesses assumed CCBs were going to be the only option, but they made it an optional extra.

To all of you who think this is ”just a tune”, you are very wrong. Every single controller on the car has different firmware and software. The days when chassis tuning meant slapping lowering springs and a stiffer anti sway bar were over with the E46.

I've personally spent years trying to ”tune” an E90 335i to M3 levels. Most of the electronics are the same, but the software is vastly different.

You can't fix all of this with JB4, lol.

Having said that, I applaud BMW for making the CS variant. The more options the better. There is something for everyone in the M range these days.

Personally, I will be super happy with my base 6MT G80 (when it arrives) and almost 100hp less.

Cool. This 3.2 to 60 is understated - the G80cx is 3.1. The 1/4 will be very quick. The 3910 lb weight is only 14 lbs lighter? Good looking setup for those who want a baby M5 CS. Good luck finding one, imagine they’re all allocated already.

I'm sure it will drive fantastic, but I can't do the red pinstripes around the exposed carbon etc. Just way to gaudy for me personally.

I’m going to add one other thing.

If BMW came to my house in the middle of the night and swapped my base model for this car, I’d be genuinely upset.

Aside from the limiting color specs, it’s still has the same issues any stock G8X does: too high and too quiet. Seems odd not to fix those on a car as hard core as this markets. Is it so hard to put the M Performancr suspension on? I digress.

Now that I’ve started to modify mine and make the car better suited to my taste, I’d have a hard time going back. Titanium exhaust or not.

Why is everyone judging this as some kind of value play. Its a limited run car. BMW will sell all of them easily. Out of my price range but that's where the price is coming from, it's not strictly a capability or performance sell.
