Oh, make no mistake: I think the M3 CS will be a huge success once the first videos and reviews pop up, no doubt about it.
I had no problem ordering one at my dealer in Germany but maybe because many were shocked by the base price over here...146k EUR (incl. 19% VAT). The M3 CS is basically 45k EUR more than the M3 Competition and I think this shocked many potential buyers over here in Germany. Once the car will be reviewed, things will change but I think it will be too late.

My German dealer told me that he expects only around 200 cars for Germany, maybe a bit more after BMW evaluates the current orders they already got. Still, this is not a car which is or will be easily available, not even in Germany. I guess I was lucky.

Btw: Used BMW M5 CS are dropping in value in Germany, not sure why but I think the M5 is just too big to be interesting enough for a certain customer group. I was considering one as well to be honest but I hesitated. The older interior put me off a little bit and the new M5 Hybrid is just around the corner (not that this will hurt the M5 CS, I doubt it). Still, I'm surprised to see M5 CS prices drop in Germany, didn't expect it.

For US service members stationed here in Germany, you can buy from either Euler or Bavarian Motors. US military discount is now 5%. They will sell you a US Spec BMW without VAT too. It use to be 10% when I ordered my G80 last year. I even got free shipping back to the states from BMW. I was also invited to tour the Munich BMW Welt factory to see how the G80 was built for the premier of the G80 back in March of 2021.

M5 CS reviews were like starting May/June timeframe after a January announcement, i think this will be the same situation. Bulk of reviews over the summer.

There are stores offering at MSRP per their policies. I was contacted about one being available in Frozen White at MSRP, and as of now, it's still available. Not modifiable in any way though. If anyone is interested DM me.

EDIT: Heard back car will not be released to my store bc the original dealer wanted a huge ADM.

Nope it's gone.

My store sold theirs at MSRP and had a trade going with another store for their unit and they backed out this morning bc they wanted a huge ADM on it. Sorry bois.

I think I misinterpreted the meaning originally. The car is available from another store, it's just with ADM. how much? I don't know bc my CA couldn't get it. I can get the store name though and share my CA's info if you want to contact him about the vehicle.

As far as I heard for Germany: 0.8 mm lower, same as CSL.
Not all chassis parts are interchangeable from CS and CSL though.

I’d imagine most chassis parts are not interchangeable. One car is RWD with a rose jointed rear axle and one is AWD with a more traditional suspension.

went to my dealer today the car is showing on their system...but no vin number yet and no build week..we did a quick search and 13cars showed up as produced but not shipped...the dealers that were getting these cars are high volume dealers..and out of the 13 cars we were able to see only colors were Black or Grey
