While I prefer the M3 to M4 in most colors, I must say I think Skyscraper gray is the perfect color for the M4! Looks so good.

The sound is good enough, better quality sound than my previous M2 competition, but not louder. I like the way it sounds, it’s ok for me.

The sound is good enough, better quality sound than my previous M2 competition, but not louder. I like the way it sounds, it’s ok for me.

That first pic really looks like Oxide Grey. I guess Skyscraper is more complex than I realized depending on the lighting

That's a shame - much prefer the silver-grey/metal colour in the first pic!!

Skyscraper Grey IS a handsome color, no doubt, but it's regular metallic grey like most other manufacturers have. It doesn't have the same light to dark & flat to metallic thing going on that Brooklyn Grey and especially Dravit Grey do. I don't understand some of the reactions to it like people are seeing a unicorn.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice. I think it suits the car. But not sure why people feel like this is something exclusive or overly special. It's very run of the mill.

i totally agree with your assessment of the color. I'm getting it because it's easy to maintain... currently have a florett silver rs3 and it looks brand new even like a month after a car wash.

it doesn't turn heads, but i like flying under the radar, and the car looks handsome in the color. I'm happy it's available because for a while i was looking at M340i's and i just never got into the mineral grey, although that's what I was probably going to go with if i went that route.

so when skyscraper grey became available for the M3, it was like unicorn for me. it was the color i was hoping to get in the M340i.
