Anyone else out there originally slated for build week 13 MY2025. Didn't see any threads for this build week so thought I would start one up! This afternoon I moved to status 151!

As of this morning I am leaving the factory and off to port!!

How long did it take you from Dispatch to arriving at Port? And I just spoke with BMW Genius and said that there is not a vessel assigned till it actually gets to port. With previous BMWs I had gotten the info from my SA but figured I would try the Genius this time. Guess I will wait to see that I am at port and give them a call back.

About 5-6 days to change status to “At the port”.

So far the production and transport has exceeded my time expectations! I hope the last part is smooth!

Same here. Originally when I ordered we were looking at June delivery, but once put in production queue was moved up to week 13 build and then week 12. As this is the end of week 12 we are moving along nicely.

What port are you arriving to in the US? I'll be coming into NY/NJ port

Not sure about which domestic port - I need to investigate. My understanding is probably Atlanta.

I'm week 14 with a start date of 4/2. Seems yours started before the week 13 start date? Wonder if that's typical.


Edit: After getting more information it seems the 4/2 date is the completion date so it makes sense you guys are about to wrap up. Hoping it goes smoothly!

Here is a list of WW boats that all are stopping at Bremerhaven & Zeebrugge (I have read of some that have gone out of Zeebrugge) and have US ports of both NY/NJ & GA (some with SC). I searched WW site and put in Bremerhaven & NY and you can click and see the full voyages with all the ports that they stop and dates.

Arrived at port today! No vessel assigned yet per my SA. Unfortunately that means I’m prob not on the vessel that departs on 3/26. Maybe the April 4th or 7th vessels (kinda hoping for the April 7th boat cuz it has less stops and actually gets to NY/NJ port a day before the April 4th boat)

ive been active in the week 12 thread and we also just got to the port today. seems like people who were slated for week 13 and 14 got moved up to week 12.

I got to German port on 3/25, still awaiting a vessel assignment. I'm coming into NY/NJ port. There are 2 vessels leaving Germany this week on the 3rd & 6th. Hoping to get on one of those, otherwise next ones don't leave till the 14, 15, 16th. Keeping my fingers crossed that we all get on a boat this week!!

Still 193 here. Spoke with the Genius this morning and still not assigned a vessel. Funny talking to the Genius cuz you get all different stories.....last week they said "check back on Friday", today they say "cars are typically at port for 6-8weeks before getting on a vessel" (This is my 3rd BMW coming from Germany and they have never been at port for 6-8weeks. I think 3 weeks was my longest waiting at port)

I guess the snow we are supposed to get here later this week will help to calm my anticipation for the new one arriving, ha ha

yeh BMW Genius is all over the place. First person i spoke to was like yeh you will get on a boat quick it doesnt take long. Then the one lady i spoke to gave me the 6-8 week line at the port. Thats wild. I looked back at the build weeks prior to us and most were like 2 weeks at port. yeh hoping we get on the boat on the 6th and it comes in only one day after the one that leaves tomorrow!

I think we know more information than genius does and that’s from all the people on this forum. They’ve been able to show me things like tracking book numbers and such and genius has never been of any help. I think we will know before genius …

For those who have gone through this process before do you remember when you went into status 194? Was it the day before it got onto a vessel ?
