I have seen both in person. While similar in tone, there is no mistaking one for the other. Chalk is amazing, and has much more life than BG. Here is a photo of a different Chalk M4, and you can see a white car in the background for comparison purposes.

Yep. They had it on the floor marked up by 10k. Had every box checked except for carbon buckets and the laser lights, which is completely nuts to me.

Yes, absolutely an amazing spec. Nothing tops the OEM carbon. I need the side skirts and the front splitter to complete my look. I have the rear oem winglets waiting to go on.

Also, if you plan on lowering it, The M Performance HAS kit is floating around. It's not easy to get, right now. I ordered my kit from Germany, but they do exist. It only seems obvious to get the true BMW suspension for the car, since everything else is OEM, and the springs just match the interior, not that you can see them, installed, while they're on the car, but you know they're there.

Yes, a little over a month ago. They had the car about 1 week and sold it. Original customer ordered and he backed out. I loved the color, but not all the carbon bits. And with the carbon ceramic brakes, it was about 120k. Content to wait for my Skyscraper, should be there in a few more weeks.

I plan to have more professional photos of the car taken soon. When I do, I'll update this thread. I'll also use this thread to track any modifications I do. In addition to the IND-Distribution reflector deletes (which are perfectly paint matched -- thanks guys!), I have my eyes on a painted engine cover. We'll see what else I decide to do.

It's actually a Porsche Color. The Color is "Chalk" M9A is Porsches paint code, for it.

Its a lighter version of Fashion Gray.

Still haven't seen a G82 in FG. Its a unicorn. I knew I should have just bit the billet and ordered it. I had to stop the bleeding at $108k.

Fashion is such a great color. I probably would've optioned it over Chalk had it been available without going PTS.

Oh, no question. It was the $4,500 when I was already not willing to take anything else off my build. And then you look at trade in value for my car, and about $6,000 for the almost $30k in options. Options aren't worth it. They're just for my own pleasure. KBB says the carbon ceramics are worth $106.00 over m compound. Disgusting.
