Random, but back when I owned my F80, I always felt like Alpine White was such a desirable and classic BMW color. Seems like there is not so much love for it with the G8x? Thoughts?

I look back at all of the cars that I've owned, and the silver, white and grey ones I would keep the longest because they are easy to maintain, and these colors just seem to age well in my eyes. The wilder color or brighter cars I seem to want to trade quickly by comparison.

I'm looking forward to getting my Alpine White M4 within the next 2 weeks.

Thought: while browsing all the official threads to decide my color, i was a bit surprised to see only 7 pages for AW (more than 30-40 for others).

Do you know why it is less popular on G8x than the F8x ? Because of the grill ?

When I see a white M3/M4, I always turn my head...

Agreed. (I have a incoming AW) but the AW post are the lightest post of all colors and I imagine one of the most purchased. (Judging from the used market sales)

Of the 15'ish G80's that have been ordered at my store, I believe only three have been AW. Kinda all over the place since there's so many good options.
