Maybe it's just me slow, or it hasn't been discussed yet that the door panels and handles are significantly different on M3/M4?

Also look at the stitching colours on the upper part of the door panel and on the seats.

Well seeing that the regular 3 & 4 series doors have a different door design, would you expect the M versions to be any different?

As for the seats, they're the same design and stitching. Only difference being the coupe versions have the tilt function for rear passenger access. The visualizer is hit or miss at reflecting actual colors and textures. Some colors look like a dog turd on the visualizer, and then amazing in real life. Oxide Grey is a great example of this.

So, can you ask BMW to paint ANY color you want?

Or, are these the only allowed individual colors?

You can ask for any color but they may not approve. If they do approve and it's a color they've never done before you'll also have to pay for the cost for them to develop it. I believe that is usually at the price of about $7,500 and up.

Yeah, just because they've done the color still doesn't mean they'll approve it. Would be interested to hear what they take into consideration when reviewing a request.

Especially in the 2nd photo. FWIW, the plate lookup only says that it's "gray".

Yea that's what I thought too but it looks like the color is too light in some pictures kinda like a chalk or something

Wow 1 year later and she's here. I originally didn't opt for the orbit grey wheels and it was a mistake but i think they look great.

I am looking for as much as I can find on Frozen Pure Grey II. I know it's relatively new and perhaps nothing has been yet produced in this color, but with the departure of Frozen Dark Grey, which is what I REALLY wanted, I think FPG2 might be the next best bet, but I need to see it. Anyone with one on order or with some photos (even better), would be appreciated.

Thank you for these references. I just happened to randomly meet a guy with this exact car (M850) in the car wash line, and he still had his sticker, which showed "Frozen Pure Grey". However, the configurator on BMW's site for the G80 shows "Frozen Pure Grey II", and it does not look the same at all. I know that site does not reflect colors accurately, but this is quite a bit darker than the original Frozen Pure Grey.
