Anyone stateside been flipped to 112 and have a production date? I called the genius yesterday and they expected to have a schedule estimate in a few days. Just wondering if anyone had one yet.

I was moved into scheduled for production last Thursday. I was just told by BMW genius it is expected to be a week 40 build. Hopefully that happens but after reading everything here who knows.

Just spoken to him. He told me that off course he cannot see the name of the owner and the specifi build, but he'll tell me if there are other delays.

As he told me last week, BMW has put as priority all the M builds in Munich plant, so that the M3/4s will be ahead of all the rest of the model range in that facility in case of supply chain collapse. For the time being, if your build is between week 38 and week 42, it seems to be good. More far week build are still uncertain, as it's impossibile to plan no longer than a month ahead for the moment due to the shortage. But I think that all our builds are "nearly" confirmed. Just check with your dealer the order status, they will tell you the confirmed production week expected for your build in real time.

I look forward to hearing your update on Monday regarding week 40 builds. I guess he will also confirm the market for week 40 (eg Europe/UK/etc)

I've got an important update. Every car scheduled for week 40 should be at status 112.

Are all able guys to check if the info is correct? Mine has passed to 112 just five days ago.

It seems that cars expected for build in week 40 are all confirmed. I think that as the US/china cars have the priority, if also the EU are confirmed, I presume that it's our turn guys! Fingers crossed. I'll try to see in the next few days with my friend if the problem is solved.

What I can tell you is that yes, all the microchips available, have been moved to solve the top model production, then the "mid" class model should experience some delays. The UKL platform models, will be the most delayed models, until the situation will turn better.

Yep, I also went 112 status 5 days ago (10th September) EU build.

If all goes to plan, we should go 150 on 30th September so 15 days to go!

I went from 111 to 112 and my build week was at 42 and moved to week 39 from my conversation with genius. I don't have a lot of options like some of you.

Not sure if this gives more context to the above info but I’ve been a status 112 with a build week of 37 for 6 going on 7 weeks... everyday I call the genius hotline they are still saying week 37

Not again... were you affected by the delay last week too? This exact thing happened start of September... perhaps they are now going through the subsequent orders and re-shuffling those...

Same here... I checked an hour ago. Just gonna have to take each day as it comes. Got a bad feeling it's going to get delayed again lol
