My CA just let me know that he is hearing about a potential 3 week delay for my G80. Not sure if it is because I just added the Carbon Fiber Package, or something else? I’m still scheduled for week 11.

Didn’t know if anyone else heard of any delays?

House, there are many, many reasons for delays, unfortunately.

Yeah, I’ve seen all the different stop sales and various part delays. This seems like a new one.

Does myBMW list a production date yet?

Do you have a copy of the build sheet with your production number?

No production date, but I called Genius and was told week 11. I have the production number on my build sheet.

Just assume you are week 11 until you get closer. Much can change. Adding a package of course can create a delay. Usually you are almost guaranteed a delay if you do a change after you hit 112 status. It will bump you back down to 111 for a bit.

In a coupe weeks call Genius and ask for the Build week again. The best thing you can do is lock the build at this point.

Making changes to your build might or might not have directly impacted the delay and everyone can just speculate.

Lock in your build and hope for the best.
