There isn't a time when the color doesn't look amazing. I think people underestimate how vibrant it is because BMW's launch pictures of the color were terrible at showing how it truly looks

Hi guys, I'm new here and just ordered an M3 Cx in IOMG (though I can still change), and I had what might be a bit of a strange question: for those of you that have this color, have any of you gotten tired of it? I typically buy cars in more subdued colors -- grey is my go-to -- but I've always liked greens and figured I might try branching out a little. My main fear with this color is that, as much as I think I like it now, I might find it attracts too much attention, is too bright, etc. after a few months and wish I went in a different direction. On the other hand, I would like something more unique, and though Skyscraper Grey and Tanzanite II are really nice, I could see myself regretting not going for something more special like IOMG or Aventurin Red. Ultimately, I just need to make a decision, but if anyone can weigh in on any of this or went through a similar thought process, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks all!

I love the color. I'm not a fan of grays, blacks, or whites.

My preference is flashier colors, like my 2013 LRP M3 in Fire Orange, the 2016 Sakhir Orange M4, and my 2018 Mexico Blue M3.

IOMG is beautiful, as is Aventurin Red. Go for one of those.

Thank you -- I think I'm going to go for Aventurin Red this time around. I love the IOMG, but that might be too big of a jump for me coming from all neutral colors.

9 and a half months in, I haven't had a single moment of "tired of it". AR is gorgeous, I can't imagine ending up unhappy with either color.

Obligatory bump to page 1 but also taking an informal poll for interior color choice to pair with IOMG.

Currently waiting on an allocation for a G83
Definitely going with IOM for exterior and the standard seats

Leaning towards Tartufo but wanted to see what you guys thought of the options

Saw pics of Silverstone on IOM (BMW San Francisco has one) and it looked good.
Also KO is growing on me.

Thoughts?

I went silverstone with the standard seats…the girlfriend despised KO with IOMG but liked it on tanzanite blue

I went with Xmas combo and got Fiona red. I thought long and hard about going with Orange but in the end it was just too much for me.

Hopefully these pictures load correctly. Demo I drove here in the UK was IOMG with FR interior and it looked really cool imo. I went with KO and IOMG on my order as I've had a previous BMW with red interior so wanted something different.

P.s. apologies for the crappy pictures, I wanted to drive the thing so didn't really focus on getting the best pics of the car

Agreed, I didn't let them do anything to mine. I unwrapped it all partially before and partially after PDI. This is how I accepted mine

Yeah it was, but I have the proper stuff to remove and clean up the car which is what I did
