Here's my IOMG with Kyalami buckets. Tinted at 60% (or 40% depending on how you describe it) with bi colour wheels and black callipers. Also full PPF and full ceramic including brakes and wheels. I even got the interior Carbon fibre parts PPF coated and especially the rear of the carbon buckets for those times when the kids do what kids do...

I'm thinking of getting a full PPF and ceramic too, but this is a lease for me so not sure if it's worth the cost. How much did you spend total for both?

That's 40% tint? (The number is how much light comes through). Definitely looks darker and closer to 20%. Must be weird lighting because 40% would not be dark IMO.

I’m in Asia so not sure if prices translate. It was done by the dealership (first time for me trying them). Cost was around 4.5K US for film & ceramic plus interior film.

How much extra did you have to fork out for the buckets? And do you know if they are available in other colors too?

Thanks in advance

I didn't have the option of choosing seats - they come as standard configuration here. Yes, there are plenty of other colours, black, white and blue/yellow to name a few.

I have to admit that the buckets are taking time to get used to. I really don't know if I'd have optioned them if I had the choice, but they look amazing and really add to the sense of theatre every time you drive. I'm adjusting the seats a little each time and getting a little more comfortable - a long drive will be the proper test.

Weeeeeel, guys and gals, that is one pretty car you have! I was going to order IOM but my dealer had no allocations and I decided not to wait and bought an in-stock BG which I'm fine with, but that green really is stunning.

Briefly had a 2021 IOMG with Kyalami Orange, shadow line lights, red calipers and 826m bi-colors. I’m ordering a 2022 and deciding if I should keep the same color or do something else given the chance. Originally I switched to a fully blacked out build with red calipers, 826m black wheels and red interior and I’ve decided to switch it back to the IOMG but do the 826m black wheel this time around to do things differently.

I switched from BSM because as mean as it looks i think it hides too much of this cars lines and personality.

I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on the color combo but I’m just worried I’ll get bored of it. I’m almost considering a Brooklyn Gray or something else that’s still unique enough and will show off the lines but will last longer. Or should I stick with IOMG… someone help me out 😭

IOMG is the most distinctive color for this car, dimmy, with Dravit Grey being a close second in my opinion.

I saw Dravit Gray on a 7 series (I think it was a 7) and wasn’t a huge fan of it IMO, but that might because it was on that car and not this one. It almost looked dirty / dusty.

I was actually 50/50 between those two colors the first time around.

I agree it doesn't work as well on big cars like the 7 or X5. I think it's great on a car with bold curves like the M3. It's also a color that same love and some hate.

As I noted earlier in this thread, I was going to order IOMG but went with an in-stock BG because I didn't want to wait. BG wasn't even on my radar.

Now three months later as my DD, I can tell you that it gets a lot of compliments, works well on the car, and if you're "one of those" it hides the dirt very well.

Good call. I bet even dark would get compliments for sure but with that one I’m just too worried about it blending in all the features into one dark mush.

I’m thinking of sticking with IOMG again but doing Silverstone this time instead of KO. Will still keep shadowline lights most likely and do 826m black wheels instead of bi-colors to make it still feel a little different than my last one.

Are IOMG / São Paulo the only colors unique to the M3 / M4 lines?

My order is IOMG + Silverstone + 825M bicolors (the silver ones) + M Shadowline Laserlights + Extended Shadowline trim. I think the ideal interior for IOMG is Tartufo but my wife thought it would look like a tree (green on the outside, brown on the inside).

I have almost the same spec with IOMG + full silverstone + black 826 + laser shadowline/extended shadow + red calipers (wife insisted, i wish they were black)

I think the oyster white or any other light interior just brings up the "corky" greens. Tartufo is more so for British racing green.

Lol I have a similar question to if it would be weird if I lean into the Christmas palate and go with the Fiona red interior 🤣 I haven't seen anyone trying that
