Congrats! I'm at the Port as of yesterday (although that doesn't necessarily mean Port of exit. could be storage or holding). On a positive note, it's dispatched...
We could possibly be on the same vessel then!

Anyone make it in-transit yet? My advisor told me that I should be on the Victoria Highway heading to Galveston. The ship is supposed to depart today, but I haven't seen an update on MyBMW yet.

Mine has been at the port since 6/29. No ship as of today. I'm in NY.

Keep an eye on build week 22-26 threads, as their cars move forward in the process so will yours and most likely follow a similar pattern as theirs. I was a week 19 build and reading 16-18 build week threads was very helpful. Keep hope alive your car is coming!!

Based on my observations, Brooklands or Hawaiian Highway are very possible to be the one, if your car goes to Baltimore, departing on 15th or 19th.

For those in NY/NJ, Don Carlos is supposed to depart on 7/11. Hopefully can make that one.

Status switched to "in transit" this morning. Hoping yours changed as well. Confirmed Vessel is Don Carlos.

Everyone is different. Mine arrived at the port July 5 and was delivered to my dealership on July 11.

BMWFS site and the financing options at the end of the build config. are showing 3.99%. Did you fill out an app and 4.99% is what they offered?

Yes this is the case. BMWFS advertised rate is now up to 3.99% (up from 3.49% last month). The extra 1%, is marked up from the dealer (which is the maximum they can increase by) is pure dealer backend profit. Even if you have tier1 credit well into the 800's they will still tack it on.

This is what they are "demanding" to offset the lack of inventory. Some also added the ADM on the front end as well. Your choices are to seek financing elsewhere or pay cash. Many are looking into credit unions also.

I most likely plan to finance through BMWFS but at a shorter 36 month term with 1/2 down. Less of a hassle and less interest (but larger payments). Whatever your situation dictates.( I'd stay away from leases now, rates are brutal and you can practically buy the car for a couple years more.

Ah ok, got it. My CA said they don't markup MSRP or interest rates. I plan on doing a similar finance plan as you.

Not sure I would agree with your CA on that but ask around and also check other finance threads as below. Others may be more well informed but this seems to be the case for most who already took delivery. Try seeking out Credit Unions.

The 3.99% is the BMWFS advertised rate. I could be wrong on this but putting it out there: some dealers do not contribute to BMW regional advertising so therefore they are not enrolled in the promotional APRs (or so said a past CA).

I actually called BMWFS when the dealer told me that I could not finance for less than 60 months. BMWFS agent said that is false. BMWFS sets the terms but the rate (over the national advertised rate) is an internal component and set by the individual dealer. They are pretty much a third party. Suggest you call them (BMWFS).

My dealer then walked back the term statement apologizing saying the finance guy thst called me was new. Should my dealer F&I guy decide to play any rate games upon delivery, then I will most likely just pay cash or seek alternate financing, but I'm trying to avoid that.

Good luck!
