I've had 3 ppl say the same, more comfortable than the electric buckets. And I agree, I spent a lot of time in the electric ones, 5-6 hour drives.

I anticipate doing long rides in the CSL, the trade off is the ingress/egress but it's no worst than the Porsche buckets and totally worth it.

I could not spend more that 2 seconds in the automatic buckets, these I could see spending hours in no problem. If you got the auto bucket in this car, I think you made a big mistake.
- The steering wheel is the same thickness as my M2 CS wheel. No difference and no reason to call it out on reviews.
- Reflectors seem to be a different part than a normal G8x reflector, as I had a reflector delete in my hand that doesn't look like it would fit.
- Fired the car up. The exhaust is super loud, loudest I've ever heard stock on BMW. I assume the M4 GTS is similar.
Thanks for sharing congrats!!

MadBimmeRad is right, after some driving you will just assume your color choice and forget about it, you wanted the stand out color after all

If you get a chance can you take a picture of the reflectors and the delete. did you buy from IND? I was thinking of buying a set but have held off pending arrival of my car. Congrats! Excited to hear your impressions once you get some miles

Let me get the car in my possession and have another look at the reflectors. It is something I order from IND, but both the shade and size looked off.

Congratulations on the car. How come you did not go ahead and take delivery? I would not want my car hanging around the dealership for another week.

Dealer has a e9 3.0 CSL in the showroom that's owned by the owner's family. They want to organize a photoshoot with it, which we discussed doing prior to order. Plus I gotta move a car to storage etc.

So I think they are building these super quick now. My car wasn't due until March but I've been told that it's now in build and will arrive in Jan and I can see it on the app! All very exciting!

Still waiting for my build to start.
Wondering if the manually adjustable carbon bucket seats are delaying the build. Most of the delivered cars have had the electric buckets so far. At least in the US.
Or may be just random…

My car is here, and has manual buckets. It was originally scheduled for July though and was delayed twice, so thats very possible.

Hope that's not the case but vey likely. My CSL has been in production started status since Nov 3 and has not moved since. Estimated completion is supposed to be Nov 18 which I doubt.

Maybe they are not updating the system like they should? Sorry to hear!

First delivery I'm aware of in my area. Appears BMW of Beverly Hills sold it to a local luxury car flipper.

M4 CSL in Calabasas

That's exactly what I'm doing once I take delivery

Lol I kid I kid 😆

Seems like H&R released a HAS kit.

Not sure how many CSL owners are going to lower theirs.
I know lowering it won't be ideal for handling but that wheel gap kills me.

Looks like the KW V4 was just revised and now ready for the CSL too. I'd like to know more about the H&R springs rates - or what exactly they did to work with the CSL dampers.
