The start of BMW M's 50th anniversary year sees the return of the iconic BMW Motorsport emblem and BMW M is putting down a marker for those who love tradition. The BMW logo with the offset semicircles in blue, violet and red was first used in 1973 on the racing cars of BMW Motorsport GmbH, which had been established a year before. With the debut of the BMW M1 in 1978, the three colored stripes followed, slanted to the right and leaning on the letter M. Even outside the motorsport scene, the stripes became a trademark with particularly high recognition value and identification power. The legendary BMW M1 was the only BMW M high-performance production vehicle to bear the historic motorsport emblem in addition to the logo with the three stripes.

I just got my new CA Black Vanity Plates for the Interlagos Blue/Fuchs Rot BMW E90 M3. 50th Anniversary Classic ///M Roundels custom painted would be the cherry on top.

The BMW G80 M3 sets are backordered. It is likely the rear 196 emblem is out of stock. IND gets shipments from Germany weekly. You can order the center wheel caps in the meantime to get started.

There is also a crazy gorgeous M-Performance Alcantara Armrest that will make you very happy.

For our brothers and sisters in the UK...Lloyd Carlisle BMW has the full set of 50th Anniversary Classic ///M Roundels available and in stock. They have an eBay Store for anyone interested in ordering. The eBay pages have front and rear photos for each PN so you can check fitment for new and legacy BMW models.

So hoop on your bicycle and visit Lloyd Carlisle BMW. It is closer to Glasgow than London, so bring a powerbar and some energy drinks, plus an umbrella.
