How accurate is the BMW Car Payment Estimator?

I'm curious about how accurate the payment estimator is on the BMW website. I imagine the Finance option is accurate. However, wondering about the Lease and Select accuracy.

Obviously, taxes and fees aren't included (except destination). But, as a rough estimate, is it good?

It's a calculator... so it's as accurate as the inputs it's given. Since on BMW's website your only real input is downpayment/trade-in, you'll be missing taxes/fees etc

I would instead use a good auto calculator. Leasehackr is a good one for calculating lease/finance payments.

They should be fairly accurate since they are direct feeds from the OE's incentives, however, as you noted they exclude taxes and fees. The other variable will be if the dealer markups the rate or money factor.

I have found the online calculator to be horribly inaccurate. I use the leasehackr web site, it's pretty good.

It's even more helpful if you know the current MF rates. As noted, those can vary.
