With the discount and deposit I currently have down with my dealer, I would pretty much end up in the same place as the PenFed offer now, assuming BMW FS keeps the current 0.99% financing deal. I noticed on the current non-AWD models they're anticipating $1000 off MSRP, which is slightly better than the offer I have in discount off MSRP when you factor in the PenFed $2500 incentive. When you spec'd your M4 base, did it show that large a % discount online or did the dealer offer that when you finally got in touch with them? I noticed USAA stopped using the TrueCar buying service. I sold my 335is through them once (experience was so-so), but I've never actually pulled the trigger on a purchase through any of them. |

All the Traffic Jam Assist must add is the lane keeping assistance to the formula. Which is a fine additional "nice to have", but I certainly wouldn't use it in every day driving because I don't like the idea of maneuvering around something and having my steering wheel fight me. But ACC is great for long drives, which I'll plan to do plenty of in my G82. |

Traffic jam assist beefs up the lane keep assist at slow speeds, so it will actively steer for you. Lane keep does sort of half assed steering and will give up after awhile, traffic jam assist it will actively steer the car so you can be truly hands off (at least for a time). I'm personally not a big fan, my wife's Audi has it and it will constantly misread the lane markers and so you end up fighting it the whole time |

But secondarily, I'm hoping for an M3 Touring (sports wagon). I know, that one is a long shot. I believe builds in July-forward will be 2022. But with delays related to the chip shortages, sounds like things are in flux. |

Interesting thought I had last night...there has been a luxury brand run on Costco auto program the last few months...Volvo/Cadillac at the end of 2020, now Audi ending 4/30...anyone think BMW could be next starting May 1? That last time they did it was last 2019 I think. Could be some help on the way for M discounts?

Has anyone in Texas Gotten a Good deal. This state loves its Taxes on leases so i'm trying to calculate it and get the best deal. Was offered 7% off but didn't have my F80 sold. Now that i have the F80 Sold i'm looking to get a good deal but Texas taxes suck and are up front.

Pricing on these is insane. Spoke to a few dealers in NJ- no one is going below MSRP.
Min discount I would accept is 7%. I guess I'll be waiting for a few months. |

It's amazing the difference in deals. Some people are getting 7-9% off whereas others are being forced to pay over MSRP. I guess it makes me feel ok in the middle getting about $2k off

You have to go the broker route, but even those allocations are getting thin... you'll have to wait a few months. Most off on an M3 was about 5.6% and I got 9% on an M4, but that dropped to 8% since my order. Seeing many people's status stuck in 112 and build weeks moving up. "Everything seems to be getting crazier every day with chip shortages, suspension pieces not it stock, certain wheels becoming unavailable".
I'm waiting to see what the build week will eventually be. Becoming more probable I'll just wait a month or two more for the AWD.

You were lucky to get 4% from most dealers. That is 8% on full the MSRP as built, including D&H. Just check the marketplace forum on Leasehackr.com and you'll find different brokers. They have Google sheets showing the discounts on various models.

Update: Bmw of San Diego
No mark ups on the m3/m4 current inventory and custom orders. They have both m3 and m4 today. Just left the dealership. Won't budge on discounts. They will give incentives only but no dealer discount.

Shouldn't matter to them, but yeah. Seems a good dealer or a fleet dealer can do 7-9% off on M4 and slightly less on M3.

How you pay is up to you. It's the same for a purchase or a lease. You also get any incentives on top of that... whatever BMW is giving, (Loyalty, etc), PenFed, etc.

So, my care is being sent to the east coast and I'm on the west. All shipping quotes are at least $2500 bucks, which eats into any discount I've received.
How have people in similar situations dealt with shipping? I've considered driving cross country, but that means a flight, finding an XPEL place near the dealer, waiting days, then driving for 40+ hours. So not much saved there either.

Do get an enclosed shipper and I did have a great experience with Intercity - pictures are here https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1148871&page=3 and finally - as you have noted, a great reminder to others on here saving big dollars but getting the car delivered elsewhere - it is a bit like getting screwed on a trade in - do you really want to deal with all of the hassle to save $X? Only you can decide!
