.9% for 60 months and 1.9% for 72 months are the going BMW purchase rates today...so for me, if I can lock these in, that definitely means I'm purchasing.

Can you confirm the 1.9% for 72? I heard 72 was 2.99%

Thanks!

Yeah, I was told 1.9 for 60 months and 2.49% for 72 as of yesterday. Would love to know if this changed again.

Through a referral from another forum member, I was able to get in touch with a dealer only a few hours away from me where I'm getting $2500 off MSRP. Not great, but better than any dealer around me so far (all MSRP, except one offered $1000 off MSRP).

Trying to decide if I should use the savings to add the Driver Assistance Professional package. I don't actually want 95% of what's in it, but I imagine it would help re-sale as the closest thing offered now to self-driving modes.

I'm getting mixed messages on rates. The BMW site shows 0.9 for 60 months and just talking to my sales guy he says BMW is giving me a 1.9 for 60 rate. I sent him the link from the BMW page for the M3 that shows 0.9 for 60 so I'm waiting to here back from him. I get that that's for very well qualified buyers and that's where I am. My credit is top notch so not sure whats going on. On the 72 month side he says he's seeing 2.99 and I can't confirm other than what he's telling me since the website doesn't show 72 months, only 60.

Strange, I JUST got off the phone with my advisor and he confirmed BMWFS numbers are 1.9/60 2.49/72. I'm in the same credit bucket as you. Maybe it differs by state? I'm in MN FWIW

I was on the fence about this after a bad experience in another brand of car with braking assist. It does look like you can turn if off with a single button though which is nice.

I want to know more about the Traffic Jam Assistant. I tried to use it during my hour+ test drive but could never get it to activate...

I just talked to my salesman and I am locked into either 0.9 for 60 or 1.9 for 72. He was using last months numbers since we have been talking since last month about rates and all. So he made a mistake on his information but I kept pressing him lol. Sometimes these guys get ahead of themselves or try to make a little more money for the dealer in my opinion so it's nice to have this forum to have information to haggle with them.

I checked a MN zip on the BMW site and it came up as 0.9 for 60 as well. Maybe your guy is using last months numbers as well. Might be worth checking.

Sure enough, thanks for the heads up. I'm going in to order tomorrow and will get clarification.

It does seem to be different by state. My zip was 1.9 for 60 months last month, but went to 0.9% for 60 as of 4/1. I saw other people on here that had 0.9% last month though.

So apparently the interest rate is indeed 0.9% for 60 months but my dealer tacks on a point. Good ammo for me going into the negotiations tomorrow.

Meh, I would tell them to pound sand unless you are getting some crazy discount on the car. If they want to play that game then just refinance immediately with your local CU. The other option is to hold your alternative approval until you are in the finance office and watch what happens to the rate when you say you are going with that instead of BMWFS.

Well, I couldn't wait any longer my dealer had a nice Tanzanite Blue Comp/black interior on the lot and picked it up yesterday at MSRP, dealer would not budge said people are calling as far as Florida to get one and have it shipped. I traded my 2021 M340XI after just 3 months needless to say I took a big hit on depreciation but it was worth it. Finance most of the total cost at 0.9% for 60 months. Absolutely love the looks of this car much better than the M340XI, ride is not much more stiffer either. Unfortunately I got the Pirelli P Zero and not the PS4S which my M340 had but will be replacing after 5000 miles or so.

Nice work on that MF. My dealer wouldn't budge on the .00133 even after I offered up $6500 in MSDs. I'm going the finance route instead because the numbers were so close.

That's not a great deal by any means. Try using a broker. In actually that's a horrible deal. I get that the car is new but still..

Sounds awfully high and assume you are paying over MSRP. Where's that $5k going? A good amount of that is likely just cash to lower the payment (not a good idea with leases).

I agree.

Estorilblue340i Depending on your credit you might be able finance the car instead for almost that same amount and actually have some equity at the end of 3 years. But, I'm not your financial advisor so definitely lease if you want to lease.

If the goal is to keep the monthly payment as low as possible, ask your sales rep to see their lease calculator. You'll want to see the money factor (basically the interest rate, multiply that number by 2400 if it is decimal format), the residual value, and the cap cost.

Every dealer will mark up the money factor, so check this thread to find out what the actual value is so you can see just how much is being marked up. This is absolutely something you can negotiate in the process.

You might be able to reduce the money factor even further by doing multiple security deposits, which instead of using a down payment to reduce the cap cost you are putting down a deposit that you can get back at the end of the lease. This can reduce the money factor even further. Leasehacker has a great post about it here: https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/bmw-leasing-wiki/10783

Happy hunting. The negotiation process is one of my favorite parts about getting a car

$4k down including title, reg, etc?

On my M3 Comp, I'm at $1600 drive off and $995/mo tax included for a 79,800 MSRP (7.3% off). Trying to come up with how you got to ~$750/mo before tax (assuming 9-10% tax).
