NWCH's stuff is top quality for non-OEM. I couldn't find any discernible difference between the OEM bumper inlet and theirs when I was looking at them.

Fyi in the end it will actually cost you 6600 not 5500. Plus your province tax. Thanks to turdeaus 20% luxery tax on anything over 100k. (Up to 200k) then its 10% of total cost.
Also remeber there is the insane 1 year after purchase luxery tax called the sales inprovement tax on ANYTHING like car starter tint ppf ceramic coating and any mods. Ref: https://www.canada.ca/en/services/ta...rovements.html |

I can't imagine any tint/PPF/wrap shops asking a customer how much they paid for their car and adding an additional tax on top...I'd just go to the next shop that wouldn't report it.

Our cars are almost identical. Skyscraper grey metallic with Fiona red sport seats. Every single option including carbon exterior. No carbon ceramic brakes though. I lucked into this build last yea around fall, so have had it for a few months even though it's a 24.
And I too got rid of an Audi not too long ago, except I had a second gen V10 R8. That being said my M3 looks nothing like skyscraper grey as I had it vinyl wrapped and fully stealth ppf'ed. Have the CF Vorsteiner grille waiting to be installed. Other than that, the side skirts, front lip etc. those parts I too will order gloss black I think. Just because even though I don't plan to lower it's inevitable they will get destroyed. |

I’m in the UK and went with the carbon pack on my G82 (and recently ordered G80), which includes the external carbon pack and the bucket seats and is about a Ł7k option
However I wanted a carbon front splitter but wasn’t willing to pay for the OEM BMW M Performance one at about Ł1.6k so bought an aftermarket CF one for Ł800 in a Christmas sale in 2022, which was normally Ł1k RRP (from R44 Performance) It looks great on the car, the CF weave matches the external OEM CF, fitment is great and general quality is perfectly good, while saving myself Ł800 in the process There are definitely good aftermarket options out there OP, so I don’t blame you for not going OEM if you’re looking to divert cash elsewhere, there are definitely good value alternatives |

Ah yes I forgot about the M Performance parts! Should have remembered from my M340i ordering. Thanks for the reminder, I'll reach out to my salesperson just to take a look.

Better is subjective. It's better in some ways, like comfort and daily driving. It's still very capable, but the M3/4 takes it up a fairly big notch in the performance department. The G8x is always "on" even when everything is in efficient/comfort, whereas the RS5 is a true Jekyll and Hyde vehicle. It's luxury and performance, but the M3 is performance with some luxury (although the full leather is nice touch that the RS5 doesn't offer). Both absolutely great vehicles, just different goals.
