To my knowledge you would have to tune the car aftermarket with either piggyback or flash tune. I went with the option to have it added. I originally was on the fence but it’s worth it I promise. The car hits 150 so easy you will wish you had the extra mph. I got mine up to 174 and I heard from my crew it will do 186 but I ran out of real estate. Hope this helps.

Going a bit off topic:
I thought the G83 was not available with the M Driver's Package, but I just checked the Build Yours tool and confirmed it is. Not sure how comfortable I would be with a cloth top up at 180 mph, or without a serious roll cage. Performance driving classes I have attended where you use your own car (e.g. Russell Racing) would not take convertibles without a roll cage. The M Driver's Package was an option I dithered on but you cannot get the sun roof with it (reportedly it blows out). An 180 top end is good for bragging rights etc. but in the end I figured I would use the sun roof far more. Speed: I have been there and done that. Anyway to each his/her/their own. In my '18 C63s I hit 160 mph once on the autobahn. On a couple of tracks I have topped that, but big ovals (Bubba in the Round) are a bit boring. Last I heard, the track record at Laguna Seca for a road car was 157 in a Lombo. People in the Benz world (e.g., C63s's but wanted no limiter) would go the piggyback route. The best prices were in slow seasons (e.g., after Christmas look for 30% discounts).
