My good friend installed the oem carbon mirror caps on my Bmw M3 Xdrive 2022. Here is the installation video. If you have any questions please reply to the video.

You don't need to remove the mirror. Just tilt the mirrors all the way down and all way outwards and work the clips with a flathead.

Yeah we only had a g20 video as guidance but yeah thats possible too. Mirror was the easiest part tho.
