Race Wins:

Senna - 41
Prost - 51+
HAM = 92

Ironically, this represents the transition in Hamilton's career from a Senna-"esque" driver to a Prost-"esque" driver.

His explanation of his thought and action process during the opening laps was a clinic. Compare this to Max speaking of Perez, "HE didn't leave me enough room so HE took HIMSELF out of the race."

Once Max decides to drive his own car he will get the result all of his fans wish for.

1. Last year Ferraris cheating party mode was ruling. No party mode now for qualifying and VER still can’t quite get there? Should MB have to run with skinnier tires just so poor VER can be competitive?

2. Agreed it should be against the rules and probably will be next year, but it hasn’t always worked flawlessly (Silverstone) and they were dominant without it. Plus other teams aren’t being stopped from developing something similar.

3. HAM had already ran down BOT before the overheat warning. Even with that VER still couldn’t catch even BOT?

12 laps later his tires were already completely shot with only 10 % left..


The Mercs ran +/- 40 laps on mediums with DAS ! Mercs tires last forever today !

^This, I said it two years ago after the Ocon incident. If VER matures he will be dominant. If he doesn’t, he won’t no matter what car he is in most likely. We disagreed as to whose fault that incident was, but it was/should of been easily avoidable by VER.

It’s been two years since the Ocon incident. There have been a lot of other bad incidents including/leading up to this weekend he keeps getting himself into. Last year in Spa’s first corner where he crashed and tried to continue with an obviously broken suspension/steering equipment was the worst of them IMO. He put a lot of people in danger with that idiotic move. So maybe he won’t before it’s too late. Talent/youth as most of us here know doesn’t last forever.

Complaining about Lewis and the Mercs will never help Max and Red Bull win. They need to go into media hibernation and develop their own car and Max needs to get some counseling to get his head right. Lewis is living there, rent free.

You would be correct.

You make the most valid point that can be made about Max. He MUST mature before he is able to mount a championship run. Even with a great car he won't make it with his current state of mind. Of his 9 wins, only 1 has been of championship caliber and that was this year. That isn't a good stat.

There is only one seat in Merc for a world championship contender in Merc..that's why Max and Jos decided on no to Merc.

It would have been good to see PER on the podium. He was impressive in the first few laps. Before VER span him out.
