Seeing the car IRL won over around 50% of the voters in that poll. We should have a last poll later to see how many are swayed one way or the other after having driven the cars. That’s the most interesting aspect. I’m not sure how it will impact my own view.

As someone who studied applied mathematics and statistics extensively, these results are also not statistically significant due to sample size. All polls with a sample size this small are (+/-) 3-5%.

Take into account the people who frequent these forums are car obsessed and hyper opinionated people (myself included), it further discounts the results.

You don't like it for the weight, the styling, etc. I love it for the styling and can live with the weight gain. We both agreed on prior models (we are both current CS owners).

Irrespective of these facts, this f*cking thing is gonna sell.

this is very true, i spent 2 back breaking days in the back of my carrera s trying different ways to safely fit a baby seat, i was not going to give up on that car easily.... ended up trading for an M3 and a happier wife

I have talked to several people who didn't warm up to it even after seeing it in person, but I have also talked to several others who liked or loved it ONLY after seeing it in person. Need to redo this is at the end of spring when most of us will have seen one in person.

I am not going to remake this poll. I think many are holding out to vote until they see it in person, nothing wrong with that.
