Looks fuzzy, lemetier posted the same picture a few weeks back that looks clearer. I think it’s part of the official press drive photos.

Same dude that designed the new G8X kidney grills designed the S58 engine bay. Look at that multisegment black steel strut tower brace. 19 bolts and no CF!!

Apparently the BMW ///M engineer who designed the S65 plenum and F8X carbon fiber strut tower brace retired early. Replaced by Mr. Macgoo the new BMW ///M lead designer.

Where is the intercooler? If it is in the front bumper that might explain the fugly enlarged kidney grills...but they don't get off the hook for that reason.

X3M Comp with the S58 is becoming the hot ticket...even the engine bay is nice. Eventuri CF intake and strut tower brace is gorgeous.

Guys this is a 2-3 month old pre-production vehicle.

Don't make final judgement Calls just yet. Maybe some CF will find it's way into the Engine Bay after all.
