Go to BestBuy online and keep hitting refresh. Even though it says "coming soon" in gray, they are actually releasing preorders all day. Probably once every 30 min, it goes to a yellow "preorder" box. I just got a Series X at 4:30pm EST.

Been checking sites daily, still nothing. At microsoft.com, I have a series X and a series S still in my cart and it won't let me check out.

The plan was to get two Series S consoles (one for me and one for my son) but it limits quantity to one so I guess I'll get the X. Eventually.

I doubt it will be exclusive exclusive. Maybe like early release on Xbox then later on other platforms. Remember, Microsoft is here to make money.

I only play 2-3 games a year. This year it was Battlefield V and I jump between Forza Motorsport 7 and some Project Cars 2.

I got STAR WARS Squadron the other day, but now I really want VR. I honestly don't know what to get next... maybe just a gamer PC so I can play more VR games and Asseto Corsa mods.

Was able to snag a standalone Series S on Microsoft's website today.

So my son's set for Christmas. Now to try and get myself a Series X.

Well, snagged another Series S so I guess we'll both have S consoles.

I had a Xbox 360 when it was newly launched. Then I bought PS4 and sold Xbox 360 and I liked the PS4 more. So, I will go with PS 5.

I haven't had a console since my PS2 (and briefly a Wii). A year ago or so, everywhere I went people wouldn't shut up about Red Dead Redemption 2 so I thought I'd pick up a console. In researching between Sony and Xbox, I read that both had new consoles coming out somewhat soon so I held off on buying one. I recently bought a Sony TV and figure I'll just stick with that brand.

It looks like RDR2 will be playable on the PS5. I plan on playing that until a new Gran Turismo comes out. My friends have been playing Madden for 20+ years and I won't have the time and/or ability to catch up to their skill level so I'll look for a sports game that they don't play, like FIFA.

Honestly if RDR2 is what you're looking to play I'd go with a PC. It was released on PC after the console releases with a ton of visual upgrades.

picked up my Series X today at Walmart. After leaving the store my 14 year old said wow, that walmart is shady as all f&&&, which it was.

sold my second series s to a coworker who was looking for one for her kids.
