DF 5000 Fitment

Has anyone received these pads recently to confirm the front pads do NOT stick out in front of the caliper? The part number without the hardware is 1553-1850-00. The pics I have seen on older threads shows the front pads sticking out about 2mm which is not correct. I dont want to have to go through the hassle of returning them if thats the case. Thanks!

Probably wrong pads in that thread, i remember someone ordered pads for ccb's and put them on their iron rotors.
Btw that part number is for the rear.

yeah, there were a few guys who did. They are so cheap compared to the other two brands, I don't know why everyone isn't using them. People give them great reviews.

I ran the pads on car for two years and they were the DFC3000 pads. Now I've switched to the 500p pads but you have to get the correct ones. They are a low metallic pad and start showing dust around 100 miles or so depending on how hard you drive. The dust is a white looking dust and easy to wash off. I'm very happy with the brand and ran them on car day one. Made the mistake of using Carbotech and they flunked like crazy.
Attached is the post with correct part number.

Thanks for the useful reply. Can you verify that the pads do not stick out past the caliper on the fronts?

No, they are a perfect fit and also come with the weights on the pad like the oem .
Also this is my wheel after almost two weeks of driving and pollen is on the roads like mushroom clouds.

Confirm if the pads you have are the same product number as the ones I have from Bimmerworld.

Looks good for the dust, but there is a little pad not covered by the caliper. Never seen that before.
