Demo M4 for discount?
Came across a demo M4 with only about 90 miles on it that the dealer is willing to sell for just under MSRP. MT, base wheels, so pretty much a stripper, which I love.
Of course, with kids now though, I've been more searching for an M3 rather than an M4. That said, given the market conditions, would you guys think this is something worth pursuing? |

Do you have another car?
Not sure what age your kids are but I couldn't imagine car seats in the back of the M4 (I have two in the M3) I would be tempted if you have another car and this was a fun car. Stripper MT is a great way to access this model right now, especially at a small discount on a low MSRP |

Whats the specs? Regardless if you have a Y I think you should spring for the M4 for less than MSRP. If you don't mind how much under MSRP is the demo car going for?

Literally zero options, MT and base wheels. 1k under MSRP. Found it in the Midwest so I'd have a little bit of a drive ahead of me, but that's no biggie. I'd probably look to swap out the wheels at some point, but I can work with that.

The base wheels are actually pretty cool I think I know a guy with a frozen white MT on base wheels, looks awesome with the track tires on it If you are patient I'm sure you could get an M3 Which is definitely better with kids and looks better to my taste but only you know your personal situation and if it will Work with the kids The M4's are way more plentiful too so I don't think 1k under MSRP is as much of a deal as it would be on an M3 |

How long has it been a demo? Remember the warranty and service clock likely started ticking when it entered demo service.
At $73k, $1k is not much of a discount if the warranty is more than a couple of months old. As many have said, MSRP is not too hard to find on an 82.

But I've never worked at a dealership so I'm willing to accept that my understanding might be wrong.

My kids grew up with me driving a 911. At 7 and 9 I really don’t see a problem. Plus you have other vehicles if needed. Bottom line it’s your decision. My kids are grown now and I still have that 911 and now daily my M4. Do what makes you happy.

This could be different from state to state but I bought a 'new' car with about 400 miles on it a long time ago. As long as the title had never been applied for, the car could be sold as new. As far as warranty, the date started from date of purchase, but miles was 36000 or 48000 whatever it was.

It's not different from state to state, you may have bought a car that was taken on an extended test drive (or puppy dog), but if it's being sold as a demo, the warranty starts from the in service date.

I will add that there was a substantial discount involved, plus I got a finance rate that I would have to got otherwise also. In this market I'd be surprised if you get any consideration however.
