2024 M3 Comp xDrive enters production!!!

Hi guys, my first-ish post of many here (hopefully). Also my first time buying a brand new car and I am extremely thankful and excited, can't believe I am able to finally get my dream car.

Placed the order on 02/12/2024 in NJ Morristown BMW dealership (shoutout to Melo for getting me in like nothing ) and got the allocation the next day along with the build number and 3 days ago it entered the queue and yesterday the "production begins" showed up.

Does anyone have timelines for production completion/delivery to NJ once car enters production queue?

The car is Aventurin Red (I haven't seen many M3's in this color?) and with Black Extended Merino Leather inside.

Welcoming all recommendations and suggestions as first mods, do's and dont's etc.

Additional Options:
Executive package
Parking assistance package
Carbon Fiber trim
Drive Recorder
Front ventilated seats
Icon Adaptive LED w/Laserlight
M Shadowline Lights

A similar spec car to mine on the streets :

Congratulations!

That's a beautiful color, and it was definitely on my list.

As far as delivery times go, there are a ton of variables. You have to put things in milestones if you want to keep your sanity.

Here is a link to general timelines, but as I mentioned, things could change.

I was told approx. 4-5weeks on the high end once car has FINISHED Production from the BMW Genius. Possibly add more if you're doing PCD.

In addition to reading the general timeline, I also looked around the threads for production weeks prior to mine to get a sense of how long the various steps were taking in the process. Once it enters production, things move fast and there are a lot of updates till it ends up on a ship. Then, like me, you may just end up following the car carrier with satellite tracking...

Thanks, sounds about the same that my BMW guy gave me, placed it mid Feb so I should be looking at receiving the car late April to early May.
