I'm in a similar situation as you when it comes to Brooklyn Grey. I like it in some pics and a video I've seen but don't like it in others. I have the advantage of waiting to see it in person, as I'm waiting for AWD anyway.

My logic is the other way around.

Originally I wanted Kyalami Orange interior andI thought it would go well with Tanzanite Blue. My Sales guy said that if I wanted the CF seats that it would have to be produced on and after March. Then I found out that the Individual leathers like Fiona Red/Black is available on or after March as well. I was thinking that Red CF seats would look great. I don't think anything other than Black/Silver/Grey/White and Red would be good with the red interior color.

BSM is definintely going to pair well with a red interior, so I've put a desposit for a March production for this spec for now. Of course until the pricing is confirmed (perhaps January), I won't need to finalize my spec.

Cheers,
Sunny

Note: My E90M was Jerez Black, My M2C is BSM, and my wife prefers that I drive a black car.

My plan/hope is for a ~April 1st PCD. My CA thought it would be a reasonable timeline even with the custom color. For you there isn't even the Atlantic crossing and port time to add in. You should be in an even better situation.

Well I guess it’s BSM for you. You have to keep the wife happy.

My sales guy told me yesterday that the individual leathers cannot be ordered in conjunction with the CF seats....

So sad... I guess I'll have to pick one of the standard leathers.

I'd wait till the order guides come out with the individual leathers to confirm. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case, but I also wouldn't necessarily trust the CA's knowledge.

Which dealer are you ordering from, if you don't mind me asking?

Love BSM. I think it will blend the grills to the whole front end nicely. Once you get it wrapped, no need to worry about swirl marks.

Thinking of getting BSM and that blue interior.

That should be a combination you won't see often. Should look good.

I've been debating between 3 colors.

1. Black metallic to be this is the safest choice as this car will be my daily driver to and from the office and family stuff. I like the BSM orange interior and bi color wheels. But this is the most boring. Plus I talked to my dealer and this will be one of the color combos they order as inventory cars. So it will be very common.

2.Frozen grey - This is my favorite with the black wheels combo . Shows the car off for exact what the car car should be. Only issue is my 911 is wrapped 3M satin dark grey (exact same color) I'm debating re wrap my Porsche a new color to get the M3 this color. tough call here.

3.Frozen white - I love how clean this color looks on the M3. With the Bi color wheels. The issue is frozen paint is awful to take care of and ruins over time. Im almost debating to order in alpine white and wrap Matte white. Get the same look and if i sell the car peel the wrap for a brand new paint job for next owner.

Also question as this will be a daily. Thoughts on sunroof instead of carbon roof?

I really like the BSM, going with the M Double-spoke black wheels and the black interior.
As others were saying, really matches the grills and trim nicely and looks sleek IMO.

You may think Austin Yellow was a common color on the F80 M3 (because it was a launch color specific to that M3/4) but it wasn't:

1102 Austin Yellows out of 34677 global F80 M3s = 3.17%

Even Yas Marina Blue wasn't really that common (despite the launch color designation):

3937 Yas Marina Blues out of 34677 global F80 M3s = 11.35%

We BMW enthusiasts tend to notice the launch-color versions of these cars because we're watching for them / seeing BMWs all the time. Some of your perception that the launch colors are common may be a function of where you live. Big metropolitan areas tend to have more M3/M4s in general (more concentrated income in populated areas). Smaller cities/towns and rural areas that have less concentrated income will have fewer M3/4s and hence, less chance to see ANY of these cars (including the launch colors!) I almost NEVER see a Yas Marina Blue or Austin Yellow M3/4 in the flesh!

I'm thinking of doing BSM w bronze M Performance wheels and then after a little while wrapping it in Satin Black. I'd be shocked if many more don't do the exact same thing

I've considered this option as well.

Heck, I almost never see an ///M in the flesh around here, let alone the more unique colors.
