So much better than AY....I'm a bit envious of it
Really? AY is stunning. Isn't SPY not even metallic?

Im talking about the wild colors. Yas was SUPER popular when it was out, which I assume this color will be as well. White and black will always be the most popular but they blend in. The wild colors SPY will be the popular one in my opinion. It will be the YAS of the G's M

Maybe different you are right in your neck of the woods. I think out here in SoCal it will be very popular and that's great, it looks like a cool color and if your going for a flashy car why not get a flashy color right

This is one of those colors I admire but not ready to select on a future vehicle.

The color does look striking.

I'm just really happy that these color options are even offered. Pretty cool that these are even available to all.

Black tape is covering up the holes from the screws that attached the camo panels to the body. This car will eventually be scraped because it's a pre-production test mule.

That's a draw back of being in the 1st bunch to order. I would had attended one of the private viewings to see in person, but it is a hind sight gamble. I believe your leasing, as in three years it will time to order a different color.

Couldn't make it to M Track Days at Monticello Motor Club this year. I'm either going Torino red or frozen portimao blue. Hoping we will see some pictures show up in the coming weeks!

This.

I don't think SPY will be as popular - for example - as the launch color Marina Bay Blue on the F90 M5. Bright blue is a more palatable color to the masses, not just the BMW enthusiasts on this forum. Most M5s (I would bet 75%) are some variety of the grayscale (black, white, silver, and everything in between)

SPY might be exciting to the followers on this forum, and I understand the typical M3 buyer is younger and may be looking for a more "vibrant" shade on their M3 than an M5 but there are several alternative "safer" bright colors available for the M3 (IOMGreen, Toronto Red, TBlue II) than SPY.

I'm not saying SPY won't be popular but I would bet no more than 15% on the M3 (maybe 20% on the M4) over the entire lifecycle, not just the initial adopters.

Remember, we on this forum are a tiny portion of M3/4 buyers.

Which will make my SPY M3 6MT with carbon buckets, carbon interior trim, and carbon exterior trim a very rare bird.

I think it's a cool color, just personally couldn't do it as a daily.
Why not?

That was one of my worries about the front end. Ideally, I'd like my sport sedan/sport coupe to look low slung and aggressive when it's coming up on a car from behind. This kinda looks like an SUV in the mirror. I guess it's not really fair to say with certainty yet since the picture is grainy and doesn't show all of the lines, but it doesn't look great in the pics.

The front has the same sort of road presence as the supra's front end imo
