Came up in my recommended today and figured I would share. He makes a lot of good points about m3 history, got me pretty excited for there release.

Geeez....This dude is A N N O Y I N G. He's the modern millennial version of Max Headroom (for all you millennials who have no clue, Google it).

The problem many of us have with the new M3/4 ISN'T that it has "changed." Change is often good.. The problem is that a whole lot of us think it is UGLY.

I like change. I don't like ugly.

But fortunately, we live in a free country. So those who like it get to buy it.

I didn't think the vid was that bad. Having my own channel with 450+ vids I can appreciate how much effort he put into little details of the vid.

Maybe a little annoying as stated above but makes some good and obvious points that some just ignore, specially when it comes to change and how every generation is criticized by naysayers who have short memories.

I frequent a lot of different car forums and I can't recall any group of owners of the outgoing generation that liked the new generation upon release. It's usually filled with at least 75% of current owners picking the new generation apart. The old "this is going to be great for resale value of our cars" comment may as well be cut and paste into every single automotive brand forum when new generations are revealed. The funny thing is within a few years most of those naysayers trade up for the new model. Rinse and repeat.

Power corrupts, comfort corrupts, reliability corrupts, tech. corrupts, fashion changes. All of these are usually enhanced with a new model.
Once you get enough exposure it’s hard to withstand.

We have had a lot of BMWs and only once was the new model such a huge downgrade of key areas that we couldn’t take it and dumped the car. It was the F10 5 series vs the E60 and we haven’t bought a funfer after it. All of the others since the 80s we learned to appreciate the improvements...and power

Is the G8X the F10 of the M3? Highly doubt it.
