There is nothing wrong with my car

First, look at my sig line below. I've owned a lot of BMWs. I know how problematic they can be.

This is my second G82. The first one had no Sat radio when I got it (coding error) in the early part of the pandemic, which was quickly resolved when I had the car in for the break-in service. OK, yes, it took several phone calls and a few weeks to get the free service activated, but BMW reimbursed me for a full year, so it all worked out fine.

Other than that, the car was problem-free for the 9 months that I owned it.

My current G82, also purchased new, now has about 3500 miles on it, and it also has had zero issues. Now, someone unaccustomed to BMW might complain about the steering column noise or the slightly notchy shifter, but I know it's normal and nothing to be worried about.

We are all quick to complain, fast to post questions here and never hesitate to pile on BMW for their various shortcomings (I do it too) but let's face it boys and girls, these are pretty fabulous cars.

So, go kiss your car and tell it that you love it. We have the best.

2 years, 4 months, 18 days. 14,500 miles. Zero actual issues. I tell my Frog that she's a good car all the time.

Only gripe is the windshield. Mine has 2 chips in it and I’ve seen several others with the same issue. They are WAY too soft to be normal…

55,000 miles on my 2021 G82, no issues. I'm already outside of my warranty, and didn't purchase an extended warranty.

145,000 miles on my 2013 M3 convertible (bought with 30,000 miles in 2017), and it has only left me stranded once. No extended warranty.

I still have the original rod bearings, throttle actuators and the original battery (yes, incredible! **searching for some wood to knock on **)

I also had a 2015 F82 M4 (bought used in 2018), had it for 10 months before I got the 2013 M3, also no issues.

3 BMWs and they've all been rock solid.

But I've heard several BMW horror stories, so I've been lucky...though I also chose 2 used BMWs that I knew were very likely well-cared for, so that helps.

I Think there are horror stories with every brand. Last 2 decades BMW has really been a very reliable high quality brand.

idk. as much as I really would like an SO exterior, none of the interior colors really go that well with it. I'd have absolutely done individual interior if it weren't stupid expensive. And I *love* the kyalami and fiona red interiors, plus I also really like brooklyn grey, which are what both of the cars inbound are speced in.

I'm sorry man, but my car has been nothing but trouble. The salesman told me that the car is a guaranteed chick magnet, and how many women have I picked up in this car so far? Zero. The issue is definitely not me so I'm blaming the car.

I’d take it back to the dealership while it is still under warranty.

With exception of the 06' 335 which suffered from the HPFP problems, all of the BMWs we have had over the last 20 years have been remarkably reliable.
The few things that have required service were expensive sure, but not unreasonable or unusual.

Thanks. I had one of those too, and I hated it so bad, I got out of the lease after 6 months and took a huge financial hit on it.

Hated it. Hated the steering, something else too, and it was ugly.
