They are permanently on my G82 since I don't commute in it. However I have a few weeks of street driving and canyon carving and so far they do very well for street driving! They do not need to warm up like track only pads to be effective. Noise is nonexistent, unlike my PFC-08's which sounded like a freight train. Dust is probably about the same as factory, which is not great lol. One day of driving and you want to clean your wheels again if you are anal.

Until you properly bed these in, they smell like burning clutch, but don't worry, that's just part of the process. I'll be going for my first track day in them next week so I'll know how they perform once properly track bedded. I'll follow up if noise level changes after track days.

I'm not sure what you are doing. No problem whatsoever with installation. Did you reach out to supplier? OEM pads had a huge weight on it, can't recall the reason for it.

Yes I called. DFC says they don't even make pads to fit my car. Only g80s with carbon ceramic rotors. I wish I knew the part number you guys were running and what they look like installed. The picture I posted just doesn't seem right. Rears are perfect with DFC 3000s. Just really want the fronts.

I was just on the site. I'm about to order them. I'm not sure what's different on these and the ones I just received that are DFC 3000

Can you take a picture of the front pads and how they fit? The DFC 3000 you have?

Ok that helps. That is how my lad was sitting. It sticks out a little further than the caliper

I have 2600 miles on car and zero issues. I actually prefer them to OEM.

Hi the DFC 5000 EURO fit perfect in the back G82. The front dfc 5000 do not fit and also have to make sure they come with vibration dampener. Round metal piece.

These showed up today. Hoping to install them this weekend.

And it's hilarious just how much larger the front pads are.

Can't wait to see what your take is on these pads. When I ordered mine, the rear pads were not available.

The front DFC5000 fit perfectly with my G82. And I doubt any aftermarket pad has the dampener. Only the OEM ones.

Worked fine regardless.

What part number? Dfc5000 was hitting middle rotor.

Its not actually hitting to rotor. As per photo above, it is about 2mm from the rotor, same with mine and I dont see any mark on the rotor to indicate the pad touching at all.

If you are a bit annoyed with that tiny clearance you can try:

1. Remove the caliper and put a spacer to the 2 bolts to have extra clearance

2. Mark off the new pads with the OEM pad and grind off the difference. I think the middle section of the pad is the main focus. Take a few minutes each if you have a good grinder.
