Sold maybe but not delivered. Retail launch for M3/M4 is March 13th so no way BMW (Canada) allows a registration and RDR so far in advance. I've seen more popular vehicles like the 3 Series, 5 Series, X3 and X5/X6/X7 get held all the way until launch day and not a day earlier. Never mind the fact that MTO likely hasn't received the data/VIN's to even license the vehicle (I think it was the X7 where dealers couldn't license them until a week or two after launch day).

Also kind of skeptical that BMW Toronto would get their models first before BMW Markham and BMW Autohaus in the GTA.

IMO the post is fake. Retail launch is not until March 13th so no one can take delivery before then. That car looks like the pre-production model that went around to dealerships in Toronto. Even our HEA spec M3/M4 have arrived off the train at our regional compound and are being held there until March. I asked my manager if we were getting them for the showroom and he said not till march. Seems more like click bait to me.

I mean, if like he said in the video, you are the first customer to receive the car and it is already registered, why would you film it the way we already have seen 100 times on the web and not film during a first drive on the streets...that everyone is waiting for

Thank GOD I'm content with my current M2. If I was in the market to upgrade, there are MUCH better looking options from Audi and Merc these days! The new m3 and m4 are HORRIBLE! wow. When I do get an itch, I'll probably get a used 911 as a manual is a must for me.

Maybe he had it de-badged as is common in Europe? I doubt it, but it's at least a possibility. I'm still dubious of the video.

Debadging isn't really common... and when, you do it with a diesel or sorts... you don't debadge an M-car... 😉

Some, a lot, but certainly not most cars (BMWs) are debadged in Europe.
I've always debadged my cars because I like some kind of discretion. But I see no point in debadging a M3, you can't hide you're driving one
