The common misconception is that just because it's " forged" means it's all the same. The factory forging isn't going to hold anything near the goals we have. The rod is the same setup as the F10/F90 rod and those bend all the time. There are already several G80s with bent rods.

The difference is our rods are H beam forged rods, made of chromoly. The metallurgy combined with the rod structure style is where the strength comes from.

Come on man, as soon as there is just "one" it becomes a trend vs a situation with the boards.

I have 3 builds lined up already as a result.

Must be fake news.

And all those were ECU tuned? Do you know at which power/torque output this happens?

Would be great to know some details, to know what seems to be safe. I hope 650 whp would be still something kind of reliable.

So what would a rwd do? x drive seems to be making the all the rwd's look like a fail… is that so?

A RWD would just spin unless it had sticky tires and/or prepped surface. From a dig you can't really compare them.
A better test would be 100-200 or 60-130.

You can go full tank of E85 on tune. Which will shave off a good amount

Pretty interesting to have 3 cars lined up for built motors when you havent successfully built a single long block yet. My question is your approach, why change so much in the motor with out knowing what needs to be changed? Are fire rings and "cnc heads" really necessary or are you creating more things that could possibly go wrong?

I know in the german world everyone has gotten away with selling unproven set ups to customers and letting them be the test dummies, but I think its fair to say that the time is running out.

unproven engine programs and 3d stock frame turbos arent going to be enough to keep up with this platform

Good luck to your approach with the program, looking forward to real results.
