BMW Individual Color samples

This is a bit of a sales post so mods feel free to delete, but I wanted to try and help those of us trying to pick colors. As many of us who have looked at individual colors know, its darn near impossible to know exactly what color you're getting since you can rarely see it in person and have to take an educated guess based on internet pics. BMW doesn't seem interested in providing them for us even at a cost so I figured maybe I could help the community some. After talking to about 10 body shops I was finally able to sort out getting some colors painted. It was shockingly difficult, despite many shops saying "Oh yea, no problem we can do those colors" only to have them discover they couldn't.

I decided to start with 4 colors and see how it goes. I'll add more if there is interest. Now that I see them all in person next to each other I understand why they all look identical on the internet. They are different,

Mexico Blue
Voodoo Blue
Santorini Blue
Enzian Blue

This is a very good idea. I know personally, I would have paid to see something like 20 different colors next to each other since it's hard to view the 'true' color online like you said.

If the new 'normal' is ordering cars and having them delivered, you can scale this into other makes / models.

Ah, if there only weren't like 15 more shades of blue.

I'd have gladly paid $200 per color to see them in person. Even if it was on loan.

Well, that may be you, since you are selling these but there's no way in hell I would pay $200 per color.

This is fantastic. I too wish they would offer samples, even if at a cost.

I think it's worth it before spending $5k. Assuming the colors are left to right in the ordered you listed?

I fixed it. They are now. I was surprised that voodoo seems a little lighter. I pictured it being this piercing electric blue.

Awesome. Surprised at the 2nd being voodoo as well. Looks like it has a hint of purple on Toyota vehicles that have driven by.

I don't think that's correct.
I have one incoming now and my build sheet reads, "Mexico Blue".

I'll know definitively in a few weeks but everything I've seen shows 🇲🇽

Put in an order for Mexico Blue (P5A) a few weeks ago on the M4 Comp Convertible and was told of the name change (hasn't updated on the individual configurator)

Its a great idea. I was sold on Brooklyn til I saw a dravit car in person. Immediately placed my order for dravit. Its so hard to decide on a color without ever seeing it in person. Especially when your spending $4500.00
