I just saw a top down G83 convertible coming towards me on the other side of the road Saturday. I've refrained commenting on these large vertical grills because it's a mater of individual taste but front end design looked too heavy and out of place on a convertible IMO. My taste may not be yours.

I've mentioned this before but damn the convertible looks so much better than the coupe! It's usually the other way around.

Exactly. It's because the dimensions on the M4, when you look from the side, are not suited for a coupe. It's more like a sedan which has 2 doors. This was also the case on the previous gen M4. The convertible, however, has proper dimensions for a 2-door car.

Here is my fully modded f83. Honestly I love the shape of the g83 even more!
funny how most people dont like the front of the g80 but im totally in love with it!!

Totally agree, even though I'm not a "convertible guy". That front end is also starting to grow on me. I would almost dare to say it's the best looking G8x car per now, just ahead of G80.
