Not my personal cup of tea, but extra points for creativity and that underhood shot is amazing!

The exhaust alone is a cause for appreciation. Awesome build.

How does it sound?

Love it! I came of driving age in the late 90s and fully embraced the JDM car culture that was popular in those days. I still have a soft spot for many of those brands...Volk, Work, Advan, etc. I think your build is unique and looks great. Good job

First of, amazing build and I love the unique look. I think it all fits together so well!

That custom axelback! Please enlighten me further as this is exactly what I’m looking to accomplish. I currently run the AA equal length as well, but I’m not happy with the aftermarket “look” that most options for the rear section provide.

1. Did a local shop build it for you?
2. Was it similarly priced to the options we have on the market?
3. It looks like you were able to reuse the OEM tailpipes, is that the case?
4. How did the axelback alter the sound of the AA EL midpipe setup?

Any info on your setup would be greatly appreciated. I might have to copy those wheels as well 🤔

1. Yes, one of my friends’ exhaust factory does it for me.

2. The price is around 2K usd which I think is around the market price for an axleback.

3. Unfortunately the tailpipes are not the OEM ones due to the outlet size is different, they just happened to look similar😂.

4. The tone is a lot deeper compare to the OEM backbox (a bit louder as well). The OEM backbox’s tone always felt a bit plain and flat to me. This backbox uses 2mm steel which is a lot thicker than the usual ones which did the trick.

I was planning on going for the Remus non-race version axleback but I was like why not trying out something new. And it did not fail me.

I am not a fan of volk racing wheels on a BMW stick those on a GTR stick those on a Honda, or on anything from Japan, but not on German automobiles

It’s like adding teriyaki sauce to your Brotz worth and sauerkraut…

Nein danke
