My angled/angled carbon/ti Remus tips arrived today. So far all I have is these tips - the rest of the full set-up from Mike @ XPH is spending the holiday weekend and some of next week with FedEx on a truck - but I now clearly see the difference between the angled carbon/ti tips (like Chicagofan and Tom posted above) and the angled/angled (which are apparently the only carbon tips available until late July/August).

The angled/angled are angle cut (like the posted pics) where the top with the R logo is farther out than the bottom. But they are also angle cut sideways, where the inner part of the tip is farther out than the outer part of the tip. So essentially a diagonal angle cut (sort of), instead of a vertical one.

They look good in the box, and I think there’s enough contour to the fitment (inner pipes vs outer on each side) where they’ll look good on the car. Can post pics in two weeks or so when everything is on.

For now, if people are ordering and are told that only the angled/angled are in stock, I wouldn’t be scared off.

I have the angle/angle tips installed like yours but the logos are not centered... not sure why, the installer said "they came like this" if you can see my picture... do you need to do something special or is there like left and right set of tips? They all (all 4) tilt to the right side

Perhaps @mike@x-ph.com you can help chime in? Thanks

REMUS offers 2 types of tips, centered or angled to the center.
They have had a shortage lately of the centered tips.

You and chicagofan have different tips. His are angled. Yours are angled/angled. Your R logos should be up top at 12 o’clock. It also appears that perhaps (it’s hard to tell from the angle in your pics) your left and right-side tips are swapped. Based on the labeling on the packing I got from Remus, with the logos at 12 o’clock, the left tips should be cut opening to the left slightly, and the right ones to the right. The part numbers on the packaging had 2 tips with “L” at the end and 2 with “R”.

Mine should be getting installed at the end of the week, so no pics yet.

@mike@x-ph.com can you please help me to follow up with Remus?
It seemed they sent me both tips for the passenger side
From my installer "Yeah if those are the side angled tips, then you'll need a pair for the driver's side. The passenger will orient itself to center when we turn them, but the driver side will be facing the other direction. "

Thanks.

Late to reply but also looks like it's been answered.

Mine are perfectly centered but I do have different tips than what you have. Hopefully you'll get it sorted out soon enough with Remus.

It really amazes me how many QC problems Remus is having still with these exhausts. It's like they don't have anyone inspecting the exhausts prior to shipping out and that the people packaging them up is just blindly throwing things into the box and hoping they got all the right pieces in there.

I may be wrong, but I think you have the passenger side tips on the driver’s side. Based on the packaging that showed up on mine, the ones marked L (I assume for driver’s side) angle to the outside, not the center. And the ones marked R orient to the outside on the passenger side.

It's a personal preference, you can do either or as long as they match (either pointing to the center or both sides pointing to the outside).
