Got my shipping confirmation this afternoon.

Only bummer is the tips are shipping direct from Remus and have yet to ship.

Can't remove the factory springs. Not possible. In the instruction manual by Remus it literally says to use the supplied springs for the valve controllers. Doesn't look like anyone got the springs. Remus is a complete mess.

Got shipping notification for the tips as well. Everything is set for a Friday delivery.

Now just need the Eventuri intake to ship and then I'll setup an install appointment for everything.

Missing springs from Remus are already en route to us.

Just when the light was at the end of the tunnel...

On my TFL -- the springs were provided WITH the exhaust.

OK OK I do like this better than the chrome

and it was probably still much cheaper to get the chrome, do the pc vs paying Remus right?

Exactly. Remus had black tips but they were smaller in size, 98mm vs 102mm. I did not want them being smaller than stock. I was going to go with carbon but was concerned about longevity. Only thing made sense was to get the chrome and powder coat it black. Paid $80. Win win! They poke out a bit too which I like.

No kidding. How can they drop the ball on a critical component is beyond me.

So Close, Yet So Far - The Installation...

I've waited six and a half months for my exhaust (racing) to finally arrive (came this Monday and I took off of work today (Friday)) to have the system installed only to be told it couldn't be done due to the missing part - a spring. So, the beatings will continue until the part arrives from Remus. This is not a way to build confidence in a brand. I purchased the axle back with the connecting pipes. If this thing doesn't sound as advertised (deep growl) - this will go down in history as one of the biggest "bait and switches" I've ever been a part of in some time.

Man that is ONE hell of a wait for an exhaust! You've got some serious patience!
Rooting for you man, hope it turns out like you want it to 🤞🏼

The exhaust can still be installed. Only thing is you won't be able to control the valves. Will probably take 2min to install the springs once they come in. Don't even need to lift the car.

Can you measure the length of your exhaust tips from end to end, please?

I feel like the non carbon fiber ones are longer for some odd reason.

7 1/8" front the back to the longest point in the front. Approx 5 3/4" from the back to the shortest point in the front. They are the angled tips.

Cool thanks. I'll go measure mine once I get home. My exhaust poke out when fully pushed in. I kinda like that look. It's no where near recessed from the pics I have seen of the carbon fiber ones.

The rest of the system arrived just now. The packaging sucked but remarkably everything seems to have arrived in good condition.

Who here can confirm I have all the required parts? I'm not knowledgeable enough to know.

I'm thinking like others, I'm missing the valve controller spring?

Did you get caps for your midpipe? It's those long tubes with the small threaded male connection.

Apart from that everything looks good. Definitely you're missing the springs and potentially the cap.

Nothing was on the male threaded connections so it sounds like you are right. Missing the springs and the caps.

This is my solution for the cap. It's temporary until Remus ships it out in the next couple of years or never.
